When you want to get your website listed high on the rankings of Google, Yahoo or even MSN, there are ways to paid or free. I’ve worked with offline professionals such as psychologists and dentists to do marketing, such as
dental Google advertising, and found that you really do not get what you pay for. It is better to work with blogs and websites and get coverage for free. An organic search engine listing for free and is normally found through the search engine's spider and then listed by importance based on the engine's methodology. To the contrary, a paid listing is ranked by how much an advertiser is willing to spend. The field of search engine optimization, or SEO, is geared toward improving the rankings of sites' organic listings.
You can learn more about this by going to my blog at
http://www.cases4dentists.com. Organic listings are seen under the featured or sponsored sites that are at the top of the page, or to the right of the page. They are the ones clicked on first. Although it takes time and some know how, it is very possible to get a website listed on the top ten or so of a page. Studies show that organic listings are the most trusted listings.

Some people think that paying for Google pay-per-click advertising is the way to go. They do not realize that this really is a very overpriced and unnecessary way to drive traffic to your website. In this form of
dental Google advertising, for example, your competitors are all bidding on the same keyword phrases. Rather than the long tail, or the long mix of words that visitors use to lead to the site, they are bidding on shorter and more general words such as "dentist" and "veneers" and "cosmetic dentist." This is the main reason why Google ads are so costly.
Since all the dentists are bidding on the same short and general keyword phrases, the clicks that come to Google are shared among a very sizeable number of dentists. Thus, the volume of clicks will be way too low. It is like trying to share one donut with ten people. Everyone only gets one small bite, which only makes their hunger all the greater. Instead, look beyond Google where 99 percent of web visitors are right now. Look on my blog at

The long tail is an economic concept that people hear when they are doing dental Google advertising. It means that visitors will find websites by using a large number of search terms, none that are very common. However, together, these search terms will bring a lot of traffic to your website. For example, in
dental Google advertising, some search words may be "cosmetic dentist" and "dentist Los Angeles." But a very large number of search terms that may occur as a three or four a word combination could be “Los Angeles dentist specializing in veneers." If your site targets those long tail phrases, then it will attract a lot of organic search traffic.
Look at my website at
http://www.cases4dentists.com for more examples of this dental Google advertising with a long tail. This is a great way for you to build up the number of people that come to your website and may become clients, customers or patients in the future.

There are many different search engines, but the ones that count the most are Google, followed by Yahoo, and a distant third, Windows Live or MSN. Google gives a searcher the opportunity to find your website by either what is called organic listings or pay-per-clicks. The former are free listings that an Internet visitor gets when putting in keywords such as "dental veneers" or “depression” respectively for dentists and psychologists.
What many website owners do not realize is that these visitors are much more interested in the organic listings than they are to the ads. These advertisements are normally located on the right side of the page in smaller boxed units or in a variable color above the left hand listings, in addition to a map with some local listings. To build traffic, you need to reach the top of the organic search engine rankings, this can be done through
dental google advertising. There are tricks to this. Check out my website blog at

You can advertise on the internet to grow your dental practice. But there’s a right way and a wrong way. The wrong way is to buy an ad that a search engine places on web pages. An interested web surfer clicks on the ad and your website automatically appears. It’s costly and does not result in many clicks.
A better way is to be a part of an organic list. A searcher who may be looking for a dentist goes on to a search engine site and types in a keyword. That keyword is used by the search engine to develop a list. The list includes the websites of dental practices. The list is usually long because the searcher may have used common words like “dentist,” or “dental practice.” The words are not specific. But they are good enough to generate a list -- a long list -- of dentists to explore. And your listing can be lost in the avalanche.
You want to be on the top of the list or part of a shorter list. Savvy internet searchers use specific phrases as their keywords. Known as a long tail, they limit the size of the list so it is much more manageable for a searcher to use. And there is a better chance that your practice will be noticed.

If you are aware of the internet, then you know about search engines. You can use them to build your practice. It’s called
Dental Advertising Google. People surfing the internet see an ad, click on it and get diverted to a website or they can generate an organic list of dentists who have websites.
An ad can be costly. The organic list is free but they are not perfect. When searchers use a keyword they may use words that are non-specific but remind them of dentistry. When these words are used, a very large list results. You are on the list but you may be on page three or four or worse. No one sees your listing. But there are also searchers who use phrases that are more specific. This reduces the number of entries on the list. If you are on the list you stand a better chance of being noticed.
To make search engines work for you, you need to know how they work. Tips at www.cases4dentists.com.

People who need a service search for it on the internet using search engines. Many of them use a search engine to build an organic list. An organic list can be a good way to find customers.
Some people who use organic lists use keywords that are generic to the service they want. So if they want a dentist, they use simple keywords like “dentist,” “bridges,” etc. The list that pops up is long because every dental site is banking on those common keywords being used. Your on the list, but you share it with hundreds.
Other searchers are more specific. They use phrases to narrow down their search. The list that results is shorter. You could be on that short list and maybe on the top of that list and that’s what you want. And the ultimate result is you get a patient.
