humerus 9. August 2007, 14:25

Thanks, stability is first!

NoteMe 9. August 2007, 14:26

The turn around on these fixes are incredible. Doesn't look like you are leaving much room for the FuzzyTest to do any harm.

Great job,

remcolanting 9. August 2007, 14:27

The two shared debian files are missing :frown:

[edit] And while I'm at it, there are icons missing too

NoteMe 9. August 2007, 14:33

@remcolanting:
You missing the Link icon too? Thought it was me deleting it by accident at first.

Opera: http://image.bayimg.com/oaffdaabh.jpg

wupperbayer 9. August 2007, 15:16

Nice build, will be testing now.

9.24 = Linux build 666 confirmed?

wupperbayer 9. August 2007, 15:29

btw., Apple’s home page is broken in Opera (but also in 9.22). Is this Opera’s fault or Apple’s?

EDIT: Seems to be only Apple’s German page, very interesting: http://www.apple.com/de/imac/software/

The page without the /de/ looks just fine.

EDIT2: "Technology" is broken on the English version, too: http://www.apple.com/imac/technology/

Opera’s fault? Somewhat I doubt it, but it looks just fine in other browsers.

Either you guys are a day early, or my calendars are all off...

Anyway, keep up the good work. Improvements in JavaScript performance/stability/whatever are always welcome.

intelimac20inch 9. August 2007, 15:53

Always great to have a new build thanks developers! :coffee:

GT500 9. August 2007, 16:04

I had the new Linux build hang while logging into YouTube, and I had to kill it in my process manager. I can't get it to do it again though...

Khaled-Khalil 9. August 2007, 16:15

hi, i see the issue there is not included in the changelog, does that mean it is not fixed ?
actually i don't know what is "the bittorrent widget", is it one of [/url=http://widgets.opera.com/search/?search=bittorrent&scope=all&x=0&y=0]those ?
if it means the bittorent client beiing integrated into a widget that would be nice, indeed any possibility to integrate widgets with the browser (like M2, transfer manager, etc.) will be nice.

Junyor 9. August 2007, 16:17

@DjiXas: Not in Merlin.

JackieLee 9. August 2007, 16:18

Wasn't there a rumor about 64-bit builds coming soon? Maybe that was with the 9.5 release rather than the weeklies?

Junyor 9. August 2007, 16:22

RocknRolf 9. August 2007, 16:32

missing .deb, any reasons?

Brembo 9. August 2007, 16:35

Thanks  !!!

james438 9. August 2007, 16:37

I think what junyor meant was http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/kestrel-is-coming/ with the slash at the end.

miltonari 9. August 2007, 16:39

Hello, i have some problems with yahoo mail in beta version, the mail's content don't show correctly, only display the HTML code; and chat option never load.
Thanks, Opera rules!!!

They both produce the same result here.

Hey Cool !!

Talking about speed dial...I installed Opera on my mother's pc and installed the Latin-American Spanish language file for the user interface...but speed dial is still in english; anything else seems to be in spanish. :frown:

@miltonari
I had problems with Yahoo Mail Beta too, but that issue is not very popular here. So I solved it by myself. Just clicked on the "Switch Back to the Old version" link :frown:

rseiler 9. August 2007, 17:21

What is the changelog relative to? 8807? 8805? 8801?

It would probably be helpful if you could augment the changelog to 8801, if it's not already.

BTW, I expect that 8807 is the most widely-installed non-final release of Opera this year if not ever.

petteri 9. August 2007, 17:58

Why no shared for Debian?

erickdeoliveiraleal 9. August 2007, 17:59

Hi Opera superguys, I love to chat and this site is my number one http://batepapo.bol.com.br/goroom.html?nodeid=244 , but it doesn't work in the Opera anyway. Please help me.

Alnag 9. August 2007, 18:09

booz0r: I can not confirm the wizards.com forums problem. I visit them daily, it works fine with new build as it was with the old one. Might be local problem...

borbis 9. August 2007, 18:12

Is this a bug?

It seems that Unicode character in the URL is not treated correctly.
For example,
http://yahoo.com∕special∕2007∕action.do.test.minazuki.com/
I think this URL must be interpreted as follows
http://yahoo.xn--comspecial2007action-kn1mhae.do.test.minazuki.com/

But Opera 9.23 Build 8808 displayed "opera:illegal-url-2".

RocknRolf 9. August 2007, 18:21

No answer? :frown:

Novindu 9. August 2007, 18:29

wow opers on fire..thx guys

booz0r 9. August 2007, 18:35

Alnag: i do too, and it's only in opera and it's not in all forum...
but in D&D, FR and eberon it is, not so in in d20 for examnple

idleskitter 9. August 2007, 18:39

Crashes in builds 8805/ 8807 and 8808 here
http://www.avm.de/
Any confirmations, thanks.

vivabrevis 9. August 2007, 18:45

crashes for me, too

Pathetic 9. August 2007, 18:52

@idleskitter: Confirmed (Build 8808, Windows XP).
No crash with 8801, but the Site renders incorrectly.

/edit: Now avm.de works fine (on 8808), without any crashes or incorrectly rendering. Strange.
