And the rendering speed is awesome. I am telling everyone about this.
I service PCs for a living. Does Opera have a partner program where I can install Opera on my customer machines?
Also
How do I import settings from 9.23 into 9.5?(i.e. book marks mainly)
?
Cant wait for Beta and Final! Keep up the great work guys!

For a standard install location:
Edit "c:\program files\opera\defaults\plugin-ignore.ini"
Add each dll you want to block on a separate line and restart Opera.
For example:
npdsplay.dll
NPSWF32.dll
npwmsdrm.dll
npdsplay.dll
npwmsdrm.dll
np-mswmp.dll
np32dsw.dll
npdivx32.dll
npDivxPlayerPlugin.dll
npnul32.dll
nppl3260.dll
nprjplug.dll
nprpjplug.dll
npqtplugin.dll
npqtplugin2.dll
npqtplugin3.dll
npqtplugin4.dll
npqtplugin5.dll
npqtplugin6.dll
npqtplugin7.dll
nppl3260.dll
nprjplug.dll
nprpjplug.dll
nprhapengine.dll
npvlc.dll
NPXStandard.dll
That works fine for me. plugin-ignore blocks any detected plugin I want no matter if Opera detects them from the registry or the current Plugin Path entry. After doing this, opera:plugins is completely empty.
Merlin had a problem with this, but it works fine in Kestrel for me.

Alot is worse, have the widgets become .wgt or .wget or .wdgt?
I wonder if Opera needs it's own packager program for widgets, especially if you have a
lot of zips. I like a different Widget extention for a personal server type thing.
I can't see the tab buttons. Some unstable logins like with textiles and of course boisebathrooms.com/larry?gloryholecams
Still, if you wand my.opera.com/Orff it doesn't mean it works on this one or framed ones like www.opera.itemshop.org/dtt.shtml
Some LD or Dyslexia friendly things couldn't hurt, or Epilepsy based; nothing to to level of making things Oval Office Friendly. A learning dysfunction like that will never be helped.
Why is .url not on the file list of default browser options. It's certainly not a stable browser in crash matters anyway.
ColKilkenny # Thursday, September 6, 2007 3:25:34 PM
When there is no open tabs (allow windows without tabs must be on) the transfer panel isn't working as it should. The right click menu (try to click on any downloaded file) is not working at all.
When there's at least one tab the right click menu is working normally.
This happens at least on linux with shared build.

Another fact is that in one it marries exists you vary people. Father, Mother and children. Each one has an email. Soon, when it intended to see email's, with one codigo only could see definitive account of email.
Another suggestion of security will be the word master. When Opera asked for to the word master, would have to include to screensaver for backwards of this order of codigo. Because for example, an user was to sail in a site with its personal datas or confidential information. E has to leave for a moment the computer and is forgotten the open window. In case that Opera does not introduce to screensaver for tras of this order of word master, a person who is for close, can visualize these data. E screensaver, would cover the information until the user to introduce the word master, thus protecting the information.
The eyeglasses with the option “to see” in the bar of research would have to continue in the new Opera.
These are my suggestions for the new Operate. Of remaining portion the new Opera is spectacular. Each faster time!

Thanks! @ytsmabeer, @burnout426
Now i can ignore them in general, but I can't differ between two versions of a plugin for testing them. E.g.:
Opera 9.23 (stable) + Flash 9.0.47.0 (stable)
Opera 9.50 (alfa) + Flash 9.0.60.184 (beta)
opera: plugins
...
C:\Stuff\Opera95\Program\Plugins\NPSWF32.dll
...
C:\Program Files\Opera90\Program\Plugins\NPSWF32.dll
...
C:\WINNT\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll
...
And how is the internal order of Opera? This seems very conflict susceptible.

The fact that Ctrl-Alt+LeftMouse+Drag = same as MiddleMouse+Drag really screws up one of my UserJS's.

[edit] - all my emails are now missing over 1000 of them. I looked in the 'store' folder and they are their just not showing up.

2 minor issues here on XP. Ctrl F5 to "refresh all tabs" was gone from 9.5, but I just added it myself to the keyboard commands so it works again.
The other issue is it seems like 9.5 stops the scroll wheel from working on heavy flash sites while they load. Like http://www.imeem.com when you are searching for a song and it's loading the page, you can't scroll with the wheel only the bar on the side.
illiad # Thursday, September 6, 2007 4:57:57 PM
if you don't use the 'Navigation Toolbar' then use 9.23 to copy over the buttons from the view bar, then add this code to toolbar.ini using a text editor...
Button0, -1466343430="Set alignment, "Site Navigation Toolbar", 6, , "View" | Set alignment, "Site Navigation Toolbar", , , "View""
this can be created by 'customise' in 9.23, and the 'view' button moved to another place..
then the text 'Document View Toolbar' changed to 'Site Navigation Toolbar'...
look in the 'buttons' section for many other buttons you can use on their own...
Eric Bladeeblade # Thursday, September 6, 2007 5:04:36 PM
Having to add the "Fit to Width" button to the toolbar at the bottom kind of annoyed me. I don't have a button for the Usermode/Author mode toggle, which will annoy me when I visit Myspace.
Michael A. Puls IIburnout426 # Thursday, September 6, 2007 5:12:03 PM
That's something that will have to be improved. For example, if Opera detects multiple instances of a plugin and lists each one under "use plugin" for application/x-shockwave-flash, you can choose which one you want to use. Problem is, the dropdown doesn't give enough information so that you can easily distinguish which version you're selecting.
In the case of flash though, you can use http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ to see which version you currently have active in Opera.
Another thing you can do is rename the flash 9.0.60.184 dll to npswf32beta.dll and just block npswf32.dll in plugin-ignore or vice versa. As a bonus of renaming each instance of the dll that's detected, you can figure out which one Opera's finding first.

Direction attribute is ignored by Opera it seems.
illiad # Thursday, September 6, 2007 6:21:49 PM
also it may be worth just saving the 'keyboard.ini' from 9.23 and using that on 9.5...
does anyone see any problems with doing this??
lmjabreu # Thursday, September 6, 2007 7:00:21 PM
confirm this. Gmail has a rendering error on the quick contacts list.

There's no problem doing that unless they introduced new keys in 9.5, in which case you would not have those new keys. Since they only seem to have moved keys around without adding new ones, I don't think you'll miss anything.

Tks, I understand, this is an Alpha
The other problem is that Opera 9.5 opens the Transfers Tab each time you save something as the last example...that's annoying. Opera 9.23 just saves it. No more. Cool !! Like IE and FF and Safari, etc...
Am sure Devs will fix it soon.
I mentioned too that using a web based e-mail. Each time you download a .pps or .wav or what ever. Opera 9.5 saves it as .aspx
SO there's a problem with extenssions...If I remember well, is a Known Issue.

If i open a session and close this session (file->exit), all instances of Opera are closed.
Btw, is there an option/way to open a session, without open a new window? I want only load all tabs into the existing instance.

In Opera, I often use keyboard navigation (using the one-key shortcuts). I will press comma (,) to search for links. I will then type the first part of the link name, and press enter. In 9.23, this would activate the link and I would go to the page. In the 9.5 alpha, It seems to only activate the link sometimes, and most of the time, it doesn't.
Anyway, I love the mail improvements and many of the other improvements that have been made. (Also, thanks for recognizing the mail already in the sent folder as sent for IMAP accounts)
