How many alphas will there be before the beta?
It's looking like there will be a fair few.

~$ opera --personaldir newop
Bus Error (core dumped)
Right after launch, this is static build.
On S10 and S9 the error is the same, but I had T1 proc. To verify that it is not because of T1, I ran it on Ultra Sparc IV with S11_b72, the core dump is a little more descriprive on s11:
~$ op --pd newop
*** libc thread failure: take_deferred_signal(): __sigresend() failed
Abort (core dumped)

New Problem on Win XP:
If you click on "Hide Speed Dial" it's impossible to enable
Speed Dial in the same tab again, becaus "Show Speed Dial"
is not reacting.
To solve this you have to open a new tab.

Maybe they mean about extensions when you save an image with "save image..." now it works, great. but it still open the Transfers Tab, that's annoying. So the extensions issue was half solved. But thanks a lot for this great new build.

Ctrl+Click on an avatar with image here in Comments -> Its's saved as html
Ctrl+Click on an avatar without image -> It's saved as gif
In both cases, the file extension is not shown behind the filname in save dialog.

On the bright side, it does scroll correctly.
It looks really bad, though. Everything used to line up nice and neat and orderly, and now it's kinda messy, in the message index. It looks sort of like the Basic View did, but it's in the advanced view.
Also, the Quick Contacts are drawing in big boxes over the message index.
Other than that, this looks great.. I hope that Gmail is fixed within a week or so, so I don't have to go and use IE.

let's go shopping.
@gun: for me Ctrl+Click saving works with right extension.
seems some problems like my ebay-login-failure are user-dependent.

- changing from f-t-w loads all images
- some sites washingtonpost.com works correctly, nytimes.com not

Cannot confirm with your avatar (PNG), but it's true with Junior's and others JPEG avatars.

When i open Opera, the speedials buttons aren't reactive and clicking them doesn't do anything. Have to open a new tab so they start being "active" again =)
(note: ctrl+1,2,3... still works fine though
