But there is a regression in account at http://nozbe.com
Look, please:
http://aerbas.com/images/20080520200240_nozbe-opera.png
Works fine in previous build.
PS WinXP, SP3, clear install.
Mika Takala # 20. May 2008, 18:06
Thanks for the build, btw.
beholder4096 # 20. May 2008, 18:12
I do not recommend this build for those, who use test builds for regular e-mail in Opera. Opera started re-download all my e-mails that has been left on the server ("never delete from server"), although the messages have been downloaded before. This was up to 1700 messages, some with big attachments, Opera mail in this build was thus unusable. The same thing happened, when I tried to delete all the messages in the trash.
There is something up with M2 in this latest build, so much for stability...
I'll have to re-check with a backup version of Opera that worked ok, because there may have been a change in the mailserver that I use (they change the hw and sw). It will take time...

Will userjs scripts from the site below work in this build? Thanks in advance.

Notice the missing ">". That's bad coding, but it's not a problem for IE or FF, because afterwards <head> is closed, thus it's logic that the meta tag must be closed. The other browsers simply ignore it, Opera interprets the meta tag even though it's not finished (and redirects every 0ms). That's forbidden.

Yes, this is definitely latest build problem. 9945 has no problem whatsoever. Please fix! I cannot test!

Usually Opera only worked on the "classic mode" and "Live Mode" was only available for IE and FF.

I'd rather merge odd 'bookmark visited time' with visited links (bookmarks are sort of links).

1) "some userjs may not work at all in this build"
2) "some pop3 eMails maybe download twice"
3) "using content blocker may make some sites not working properly"
to your know issues list on top of this blog.

Also, if I close a running YouTube tab the plugin wrapper goes to 100% (or close), this is also a regression.

Thanks for the new build and it seems to run snappier.
Something I have noticed and not sure if it is just my
machine here. If you go to a secure site either a Extended
Validation site or one that is secure but doesn't have Extended
Validation when you first load the site nothing appears in the address bar. Only if you refresh the page does it then appear.
I thought it might be my skin so I changed back to the default one
but still get the same thing.
cheers

I reported two problems with M2 last week, and both are fixed in this build.
.rtf files are no longer re-appended with a .dat extension in MS email clients (this was a single-build regression, and already fixed).
Likewise, the last build could not retrieve email from one of my POP3 servers if it had also SENT that email. Also, fixed.
Obviously, things can't all be repaird this quickly, but I want to give props for the Desktop team on keeping my M2 worthy of being my default email client.
Yay.
