This error show for example when I clicked download link with Opera 9.51.

since I installed this build this morning my computer is so slow...

Any chance we can see ⌥⌘I open _and close_ Dragonfly?
It's really bad that you have to go into the menus or press the X if you want to close it (the X is pretty unstable too, it only closes developer tools occasionally)

One possibly very old issue... Why can't I log in NORMALLY to my GMail mailbox using Opera browser?

After entering username and password at 'mail.google.com' nothing happens, if username/password is correct - until hitting F5 that is I mean if username/password is not correct, the message is shown, but if all is right nothing happens - until refreshing the page manually.

Can it be something with the settings?

Then i noticed some error-message while upgrading from 9.5 to 9.51. The installer showed some error like (it was in german): "Upgrade only possible when Opera is already installed" or something like that.
Opera 9.50 was installed, so i choose upgrade and get this error. The installation/upgrage still seems to function. Can someone confirm this error?

It says accounts.ini and index.ini are corrupted when copying from application data

leoalassia: basicaly very similar to mouse gestures. Instead of mouse-movements you use combination of left- + rightclicks

XP is old stuff, which is going to die over time. It will be replaced with Vista or Windows 7. So the future is not XP, but Vista and further windows versions.

XP is not a better OS than Vista. Vista has a couple of great improvements in security. Further i like the idea of let the gpu doing the GUI stuff and keep the cpu for your work. The new look of vista is a question of taste. Anyone who says Vista is slow, should keep in mind that XP was designed and developed for old pcs. Vista is for the new pcs and use the avaible performance of them.

Now to the point of the new MSI-Installer. For me the classic-installer worked always great. With the new one there are some problems for me (see my post above).

Downloads still doesn't always start, I have pop-up blocker off. This happens mostly with .pdf files

One improvement: Opera doesn't always crash after this anymore. Only sometimes.

Finally! This is what 9.5 SHOULD have been. Opera shouldn't have tried to get 9.5 out the door before firefox 3. It just resulted in a buggy, cruddy release that I couldn't recommend to my friends.

9.51 is MUCH better. The skin is better, the transfer windows are better. The whole thing is just better. NOW I will recommend it to my friends.

When I update, my C:\Program Files\Opera\search.ini is replaced with the default one. I changed it because it was impossible to get everything configured the way I want with the default one. Can this not be overwritten in future installations?
Also, the search configuration GUI needs to allows things like changing the order of searches and setting icons when the icons fail to load.

search.ini inside your profile directory won't be replaced when you update.

Hi guys... Had to kill Opera [Build 10081] this morning because Opera's cpu usage was suddenly skyrocketting at 97% with no intent to go back down, even after several minutes' waiting. Not very happy about that.

Also, just can't get Aspell to work with this build, while it works fine with Opera 9.27.

Finally, Eraser does not appear in the right-click menu made available by Opera 9.51 in the download tab.

I'm afraid it's wiser to stick to 9.27 for the time being.

Sigh...I only wish the saving with no extension to be fixed. I'll wait for 9.52

I just noticed a rather funny effect. Press F11 for full-screen, then F11 again for normal window. Then move the Opera window down until it overlaps the Windows taskbar. And, surprise: Opera is suddenly "in front" of the taskbar.

To have the normal behaviour again, click the taskbar, then click on Opera to change the focus - now Opera is "behind" the taskbar again when both overlap.

(Seen in Win2K with Opera 9.51)

this ... and there hasn't been any progress since then ...

Not only that, though it makes up the bulk of the bytes of course. There are more differences: the International installer is itself localized. Also, it contains some variations of the search.ini files, so germans and chinese and russians etc can get a different default search engine.

Honestly, to me that's the biggest annoyance there has ever been since I started using Opera some six years ago. The address bar is pretty useless this way. Newly added addresses never appear in the address bar at all.

While it is fine, that images no longer show up in the transfers panel, they are still not taken from the cache but downloaded a second time even though the picture is already on your disc in opera cache.

i can't work on this, right click menu at form box's still not working, and something more worse... now(opera 9.51) when i have opened 5 and more browser tabs opera getting 100% CPU!!!

Sorry, still the same, after deleting opera6.ini (saw the 1st run page at startup).
Tried also with a fresh directory.

(crashes also randomly if the website is not on the active tab, when clicking somewhere)
