tomurbanowicz 11. July 2008, 10:39

Not fixed:
RSS is still notified like e-mail :frown:
bug-343301 - opera:cache :frown:
bug-345361 - IMAP and BCC :frown:
bug-345361 - opera:config "Keep Entries Days" = 0 - Opera does not clear at exit :frown:
Problem with unsubscribe folder in IMAP (GMAIL). In Opera 9.27 was not that problem :frown:

I'm really disappointed :frown: :frown:

Blacker47 11. July 2008, 10:46

And what about regressions from 9.27?

There is still a repaint-bug in 9.51 (couldn't test atm the new snapshot).

Irontiger 11. July 2008, 10:53

Hi!

There is still a bug in showing the AVM-Fritz!Box GUI (ONLY in Opera).
Turn ON the DHCP-Server will pop up a message with "DHCP-deaktivated".
Turn OFF the DHCP-Server will pop up "DHCP-aktivated".
Can someone confirm?

(Fritz!Box 7170 & 7270 tested)

Thanks for fixing this, it's been driving me nuts

Paul Skinner 11. July 2008, 10:56

@Blacker47: No, that's still broken for me.

Please look for regressions since 9.50

Where??

tomurbanowicz 11. July 2008, 11:14

@olli:
I've read this FAQ, but I still do not understand why You get me that FAQ link. Do You mean that Opera Team has no idea how to fix this? Why in Opera 9.27 is OK, and in Opera 9.50/51/52 is not? ;>
OK, I will not be a beta tester. Good luck.

nataniel 11. July 2008, 11:23

What about the PGO on Mac build ? It's so slow in comparaison with Safari and Firefox. But I prefer Opera ! Too bad

grogge 11. July 2008, 11:35

Saving images loaded directly in a tab is still broken under Windows XP Professional.

chiken 11. July 2008, 11:36

Hello, thx for the new snapshot.

The status bar also turns down from top to bottom after each upgrade since 9.50.

The inconvenient "empty on exit&show nothing in cache"-bug/feature is still in place.

olli 11. July 2008, 11:42

"Additionally, the Desktop Team must prioritize their work. Bug fixes are often scheduled for future releases to prevent the release currently being developed from being postponed indefinitely."

Also we do not want regressions in a stability update thats why we prioritize them higher than regressions from 9.2

SpyMan 11. July 2008, 11:54

Still no rich text formatting in Gmail 2... :frown:

Aleksandersen 11. July 2008, 11:54

“Hei”? Are you trying to slowly influence the English language by sneaking in some of your Norwegian? :-P

HellbillyDeluxe 11. July 2008, 11:57

@ CubeOpera: The site works fine here:

Windows Vista x86 + Opera 9.52 Build 10089

jurko1111 11. July 2008, 12:03

In Opera 9.2x double clicking on url select whole URL. In 9.5 this feature is gone. I read forum about this and many people say that this is bug(but i don't think so). Will be this feature back in next version or build? Will there be an option to change behavior of selecting text by double clicking?

thx and sry for my english.

tomurbanowicz 11. July 2008, 12:05

When I delete mail in Opera (IMAP), the Opera Trash is EMPTY - the deleted mail is not appeared in opera trash :frown: In Opera 9.27 is OK.

miki69 11. July 2008, 12:11

Fixed an issue with history navigation: an iframe with document.write is not added to history anymore

Finally :jester:
Now http://www.worldcarfans.com works perfect!!

Way to go guys!

ps. I guess these are lowest priority issues, but any chance to fix annoying green light being still lit AFTER download completed (in Transfers), or you like it being always green?.
And this site still has gallery issue
http://www.mobilnisvet.com/mobilni-slike-uzivo/1670/Sony-Ericsson/G900i/1/1
see, thumbs are not in form of matrix but rather in form of single line so you need to scroll

Cheers,
Miki

olli 11. July 2008, 12:26

grogge: Well if we don't prioritize and fix random bugs based on random feedback without prioritizing you will probably use it a few more years ;-)

Heinrich_Hansen 11. July 2008, 12:28

In satellite view in google maps there is *still* this strange image-frame over every tile in the highest zoom levels. Using x86_64 linux.

acale75 11. July 2008, 12:40

I have to install opera with administrator rights but i don't want that. I want to intall opera with a normal user account. With opera 9.27 was this no problem. Why is this not possible now?

Merijn 11. July 2008, 12:45

Thanks for the new ver, but... did Google Reader completely break or is it just me?

olli 11. July 2008, 12:47

Merijn: What fails?

EricJH 11. July 2008, 12:49

Thankf for the new weekly...:wizard:

Micky 11. July 2008, 12:54

@jurko1111: Yes, i think this "feature" is in conflict in now solved bug-282578, which was if you double clicked something like (this) and /this/ in versions before 9.5, one symbol was selected and one not. That is now fixed, but now double.clicking.on.this is not expected.

tomaskc 11. July 2008, 12:56

in last versions on mac platform (include this snapshot), all the search icons are opera icons

exit 11. July 2008, 13:13

I installed this version and my problem with hotmail was not cured so I uninstalled and installed 9.51 and hotmail is working as normal.

man on the street 11. July 2008, 13:20

and the beat goes on......
only got a few hours before i'm off on hols so i guess i will have more time for the next build or two
anyway...downloading now!!

olli 11. July 2008, 13:21

exit: Your problem with Hotmail? Can you please give more details?

davidviolin 11. July 2008, 13:22

@ Heinrich_Hansen: Confirmed strange "boxes" of images. however, strangely enough it goes away if you close the left "sidebar" where google displays the address and other info, and re open it.
9.51, XP SP3

omnivox 11. July 2008, 13:23

I still have a problem with nearly all secure (HTTPS) websites... I can't connect to them since 9.51 (could also be related to the latest Windows Update, though)...

ytsmabeer 11. July 2008, 13:25

@omnivox: I notice some problems the first time I start an https page.
If I stop it and start it again it works.

Edit:a profile reset seems to fix most of the https problems

lamarca 11. July 2008, 13:26

it's been a long time google reader search dropdown menu is unusable.

olli 11. July 2008, 13:37

lamarca: Did you file a bug report? I'm guessing you mean the dropdown besides the searchfield?

Pondus 11. July 2008, 13:37

Blacker47: Bug nr. for the http://blacker47.de/ttemp/opera-tc/bugtest.xhtml issue?

exit 11. July 2008, 13:38

Hotmail issue I was not able to log in 9 out of 10 times and then it was suggested I log in with enhanced security and that seemed to fix the log in problem but after I was into
Hotmail my email would not open nor was I able to delete. And a small message
Saying “working on your request”. I have XP pro sp3
