Were those not using the built-in client affected by this?

Andrew Frazier: It's difficult to understand what "doesn't work" means. Please try to describe issues in enough detail for other people to understand what you are referring to.
vinodkk1: I don't know what you wrote, but you should read this carefully, and avoid posting comments that are just noise.

My report:
1) Torrent downloads now doesn't freeze Opera = problem seems to be fixed. Good job!
2) There is still the right-click menu problem. I don't want to abuse, but is this really so hard to fix?
EDIT: Now I understand "known issues" system, even thought I dislike it. Why can't everyone see all the bugs (on some page for example)? Is there any valuable reason?
I didn't wanted to make this post negative and I apologize for this. Opera was always #1 for me, and a small disagreement has no power to change it.

When you compress the default skin, use the 'store' compression. This will mean that the installer compression can do a much better job on the files in the zip. The same goes for any zip file in the opera installer.
You can also use PNGGauntlet to compress the png's. I just tested it and managed to reduce the files (PNGGauntlet is lossless btw) by 120kb.

Hostings say that - 'Can't upload this(these) file(-s)'.
Firewall and antivirus don't influence on this process.
And also I can't upload any files at forum and blog...
It seems to have been broken...
ElectriX2 # 14. August 2008, 14:26
There was written something like "my.opera.com uploads doesn't work" about 10 mins ago, it's a "small" difference, isn't it? Dunno who changed it, but it was after 14. August 2008, 15:00:34...
Both working for me. Can't confirm. Last build installed over 10103 on Windows Vista SP1.
Note: In 9.5 the shortcut is CTRL+U instead of CTRL+F3
Question: Is it really possible to release Opera without working uploads and give it a RC attribute? That's not funny! :-D

Article was later corrected! Here is original snapshot: http://weben.cz/opera/blog.jpg

That'll be it, thanks.
@ElectriX2
Disabling the disc cache is the root of my problem.
Stifu # 14. August 2008, 14:48
Same comment for maybkot, who posted even later.
So yeah, the Opera team may have changed the Known Issues shortly after having posted this article, but I don't think that's the reason why some people missed this. They most likely just didn't read.
postas # 14. August 2008, 15:26
still bugs:
"rendering bug on http://www.bild.de/ when you going to the regional sites (like hamburg or berlin.
somtimes when you are deeper in the menu of the regional sites, than will not render the hole site, but just a small of them on the right place, i culd not belive it what i was seeing.(ubuntu 8.04)
http://de.advfn.com/ not fixed, opera thinks its a login site for mobile phones (only on ubuntu)
http://www.fujifilm.ch/ menu not works"
ayespy # 14. August 2008, 15:33
There's NO WAY you can RELEASE a version with a regression that causes it to fail to load pages longer than a certain length.
See: http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/stateupdates/gG5Fzf/commentary#comments
At that site (and others, as seen in the forums), if there are more than about 280 comments on a blog, it shows the page as "loaded" with no vertical scrollbar and no way to scroll vertically = only the very top part of the page can be viewed - none of the comments.

It doesn't work in 9.51 neither.
A little workaround : when page is loaded check or uncheck "fit to width" (in "view menu") and the scrollbar will appear.
ayespy # 14. August 2008, 17:07
Seems to be a function of number of lines to be displayed on the monitor WHICH CHANGES ACCORDING TO MONITOR SIZE AND RESOLUTION SETTING. So my laptop can see more lines of text with fewer pixels.
Weird.
Still, 9.51 should not do this, either.
So - I take it back. It's not a regression since 9.51. Possibly since 9.5, and FOR SURE since 9.27.
Yes, the "fit to width" (WTF?) fix works - so I will live with it for now.
Thanks, icare.

And I can't change it, no matter what I do! I use Windows XP Pro SP3. I tested on a clean install of Windows, I tested it as an upgrade of Opera... it doesn't matter. Why? Am I the only one with this problem?
Shion99 # 14. August 2008, 18:34
I have one question: What happen if Opera crashes, can i lose configurations or something get corrupted without me knowing?
kyleabaker # 14. August 2008, 19:02
C:\Users\username-here\Downloads\
..instead of..
C:\Users\username-here\Documents\
Firefox already takes advantage of this folder in vista by default so why does Opera not?
The new menu option to close a tab is a good move towards making the switch to Opera easier, but I honestly don't know why new users would choose to go to File->Close Tab instead of clicking the close button on the tab itself. Seems more out of the way, but I guess it will help some users.
The menus are starting to feel cluttered to me. The File menu especially. I'm not sure what exactly needs to be rearranged or moved to another place, but it just doesn't look as friendly and inviting as the menu's in most other browsers.

@All
Opera still ignoring your link-clicks until it finishes loading the page? This problem is kind of big and it seems to be gaining the attention...

Today especially, thank you for this present, a new version of Opera to test. However, I am having trouble getting the complete display of the site
http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=62801
Blocks saying "image" display for the prices. I tried masking and identifying as IE, but got the same display upon reloading. IE6 displays the page with the images properly. Is this a Microsoft page problem?
Sincerely,
Mathman
