I have just a few issues with the search.
With the new release ASK is set to be new standard search, but unfortunately is not the best one for me. That’s why I tried to set google as my preferred search engine but after setting it a couple of times as standard it just won't work also editing the search.ini wouldn't work.
For example: I can delete ASK (and a couple of other search engines I don't need) and organize my search the way I want it. But after closing opera and opening it again all my adjustments seem to be forgotten and all deleted search engines are again in my search list!
Is this just an issue on my computer?
I’m using Opera 9.52 Build 10108 and before the stable releases 9.50 - 9.51

Oops! I hadn't read the previous post but I can confirm the problem.

Same build as rc2 ???
I hope the korean font problem will be fixed in next version.
It's very annoying.

the thread http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=225510 has seen no dev/rep response since march, and the problem is still there in 9.52.
any chance to get somebody to look at the issue ?
of course, i could try to report it as bug, but given that there's no way to track the issue later...
berend ytsma # 20. August 2008, 09:54
No bugrapport of a bug, is most likely also no fix.

It's possible to start the video again by clicking the.. time-slider?.. but it stops again after 5 more seconds.

* I was confronted with a "Yes"/"No" dialog asking if I wanted to upgrade my existing 9.52 installation: for multiple installation deployment (I have both the release version and weekly build installed) the typical "upgrade"/"choose other install location" was more useful;
* Naming convention seem to have changed: at least, for the international version, "Opera_952_10108_in.exe" vs. "Opera_951_in_Setup.exe" (build didn't used to appear, no "Setup" keyword). Probably this was meant to change, but...
Congratulations on the Opera team, which is doing a really good work!

Presumably this is the beast we are looking for. Anyone brave enough to try installing it?
"After you." "No, after you!"

That's the ubuntu/debian version (for hardy/lenny download the gcc4 qt3), and it's the same build as rc2.

Wait.... wait.... do I see a bird at the horizon getting towards us? Looks like it could be a Perergrine falcon..... can anybody confirm?

I really don't want that MSI rubbish unless the app. gives no choice - I like all of Opera to be on D:\*

when in Preferences I set to "open next tab on closing a tab", but tabs have been opened by ctrl+shift+left-click, it will open last active tab and not next tab!
Thanks!

And thanks that those search engines come back to my list every time I "accidentally" erase them. Nice.

Logging in works fine.
Composing works fine.
Uploading and sending attachments works fine.
Only problem I see is that when you send a message with an attachment, after the message is sent (will change from "still working" to "loading"), it won't refresh back to the message list. Clicking "Inbox" takes you back though.
As for Gmail IMAP, that's working perfectly.
