We released Opera 9.6 beta today.
Thanks for your testing.
We fixed 2 issues after the RC and added Ukrainian language file :-)
Fixed:
*Sessions broken after crash
*FCKeditor Demo didn't load (broke alot of other stuff aswell)

REGRESSION since the public build before the previous public build:

"DB Realtime Indikation" on http://www.finanzen.net/ has stopped working. The status field displays "Streaming system is disconnected". Linux build #2410 is fine.

Hey, I have got a strange problem since the previous build. I removed all the feeds I was subscribed to, and now I cannot subscribe to ANY feed

Edit: Never mind, I just deleted the webfeed folder in Appdata and now works.. By the way, keep it up!

I have noticed the same problems than before with RSS. 50% of my RSS feeds are still unreadable :

and these two that I have already reported :

http://www.dattebayo-fr.com/rss-news.php

I know the errors are probably from these websites, but these feeds are OK with Safari and Firefox. Please be less strict with the code.

Multisearch1 is still broken when Opera starts with no tab.

It used to work in 9.5x: Start Opera with no tabs (my default), the multisearch combo box had the default search active. But now after introducing those UNIQUEIDs it is simply blank without any search active until you open a tab (opening a tab being a workaround for this regression).

As per bug reports submitted under 9.5. Email issues:

1. Yahoo.co.uk - can log in, but can't open email.
2. Hotmail.com - can log in and open email, but when one clicks on email all folders [inbox etc] are highlighted in gray:whistle:

Issue not fixed since version 9.5, after playing a game on newgrounds.com, if you try opening another game there's no audio, and if you try to view any youtube video, the video gets stuck at 00:02

HTTPS particularly for banking institutions
Google groups are still broken

Why are these issues not resolved? Why not feature freeze and fix the bugs?

@Spackie: uh, in case you didn't notice, no new features have been added since the first snapshot!

Also, your description of those "issues" is useless. Google Groups seems to work fine here, as does HTTPS.

Problems on Deezer.com, sometimes it's impossible to write in the text area, or to change what I have written before. The text area seems to be "locked". Then, when I click on the language choice on the top of the site, I go to a blank page and the URL page is "javascript:void(0)" (Mac version).

In "speeddial.ini" I can not do this.

There is no 'Ukranian', but 'Ukrainian' language, however, that's not my point. Was this locale added to specific platforms only? I don't see it in Mac OS X build.

Besides the old same bug I've always written about, this build and last one, crash very often and sometimes an error message appears about a "Shockwave Flash" error.

Another problem: this build often does not remember last saving files folder.

This is quite an unusable build to me.
