The first release candidate for 9.6 is just around the corner now, but there are still a couple of issues left to resolve. Now is the time to let us know about any regressions so we can fix them before the RCs

You have fixed the drawing issues (bug-362413), too. So I can use smooth scrolling with Qt4 on Linux and normal (keyboard) scrolling without glitches.
Edit: No, sadly the glicthes are still there on scrolling... (but the situation is much butter now!)
Thank you very much! These were the worst bugs I noticed.

But there is only one type of Qt4 packages, and the files in the two aforementioned are the same.
I think in the Opera executable did they modify something and thus I can use KDE 4's Oxygen style and the native Qt open/save window.

in Your '/usr/bin/opera', replace:
with
This will make Opera respect Your QT4 style (configured with qtconfig).

However, while you are at correcting "focus" bugs, there is still this annoying selection bug, when selecting texts that have a CSS ":after" content and a ":hover" rule at the same time.
The selection often does not work (not possible to do a copy/paste), and even when it works, there is afterwards a graphic bug with the selection that stays even after clicking elsewhere.
Here is a little test-case illustrating the Opera bug:
http://alexandre.alapetite.net/divers/vrac/20080926-opera-bug-selection-css-after-hover.html
Good luck ;-)

Almost every page looks weird.
I tried rm -rf ~/.opera but it does'nt help.
Now i am back to build 2430 - Phew! everything OK again.
How can this happen?

edit:
weird, sometimes works, sometimes not.

This bug makes troubles (inability to submit form!) to our intranet system form submission for Opera users.
Don't let experimental features like WebForms 2 to ruin user experience! Fix this bug!

It didn't occur to me you were packing both PPC and Intel DMGs...wow, Opera mac-intel dmg is only 7.9 meg (was always wondering why the Mac install was so huge).
Great build so far!

Did u tested new Opera release for limited amount of downloads? I didnt yet. Is it limited by 20 like earlier?
If it is so, it's a pity.

gmail wont work on new and old version.
in all 9.6 builds gmail freeze or keep endlessly in "still working" mode (in new version) and loading in old version.

Mask as Firefox.
Browser identification: try to mask as Firefox or IE.
Content blocking: disable the Content Blocking and test again the "broken" site.
User Javascsript: disable that option if the above solutions fails.
BTW cars.com problem persist.

There are a couple things I have seen with the default skin using Windows XP that are small, but I wanted to bring them to your attention (if they aren't already)
1. There is about a pixel of white that stands out in the lower-left and lower-right corners of both the address field and the search field that are kind of a nuisance. Just a little visual "tick"
2. Would it be possible to make the panels button slightly larger, to match the width of the panel itself? 5 pixels worth of difference might really help.
Thanks!
