Bug 337388, reported over three months ago, is still present.

alf245 4. October 2008, 15:30

Radio buttons suck when being printed.

When printing to paper, radio buttons look like if all of them were selected at the same time. It can be tested right on this page here. Switching to "Print Preview" is not sufficient to show this bug. Printing to file or paper is required to reveal it. System: i386-Linux. Can anyone confirm, please?

lamarca 4. October 2008, 15:34

i noticed a delay when using fast history navigation.

vas3k 4. October 2008, 15:36

Thanx, Opera! It's cool

alf245 4. October 2008, 15:42

When switching to "Print Preview", there are sometimes empty squares with a dotted border in the header. This can be seen on this page, right after "Opera 9.6 RC 2 -". System: i386-Linux. Can anyone confirm, please?

kavalec74 4. October 2008, 15:47

On Saturday?!!! :O

Great

elitegeek 4. October 2008, 15:49

Thanks! (and I'm happy to report that RC1 was much better than previous builds)

szotsaki2 4. October 2008, 15:53

The Qt4 build is not shared now, but the content tearing problem seems to be being eliminated.
If so, I would like to say a great Thank You!

There are some problems, though.

Hades32 4. October 2008, 15:55

Thanks for fixing Nitrome...

NTMan 4. October 2008, 16:00

squillaz 4. October 2008, 16:15

Cheers for new release!

These bugs are still present:
366872 (wbcn)
367058 (badongo)
366082 (10minutemail)
367074 (www.live365.com/index.live)

Pondus 4. October 2008, 16:17

NT Man: I can confirm issue 2, but couldn't find a report. It's reported now as bug 367174.

PLnet 4. October 2008, 16:26

Really didn't expect the new build so fast, especially a new RC  Thanks!

Fixed an issue where opening links with the keyboard after an inline find would open the link twice

Since you've touched this, I've just filled a bug report about another double-opening problem: bug-367175

NTMan 4. October 2008, 16:27

Netegrof 4. October 2008, 16:29

Ok, I will download and test it.

MetalRaise 4. October 2008, 16:30

Just submitted two bug reports related to Print Preview (and possibly websites using frames):

[BUG 367173] Opera crashing on certain websites when exiting Print Preview
[BUG 367176] Blank page when returning from Print Preview

Necroman 4. October 2008, 16:35

Just a question, would the problem with not working AJAX widgets in 9.52 be fixed in 9.6?

haavard 4. October 2008, 16:52

Necroman: "The problem" is a bit vague. Please try to explain the problem in detail when posting. You can't really assume that people know what "the problem" is

julianreschke: That bug has actually been fixed in Peregrine (post-Kestrel branch), but the fix hasn't been backported.

The same goes for badongo.com, squillaz.

afz 4. October 2008, 16:59

agian, bug-352210(letter-spacing with Persian|Arabic languages) still exist

masterofopera 4. October 2008, 17:00

Assimilating build for testing :D

ferrisnox 4. October 2008, 17:17

Thank you very much. These builds are just getting better and better.
Its nice to see smashing of the annoying little bugs. I don't really feel like I'm missing important features, I just want the little stupid bugs gone, and my pages that I frequent to work with Opera.

With that in mind here are some pages that still have trouble:
1. Microsoft Workspace Office Live http://workspace.officelive.com
2. Google Spreadsheets - dying for this to work.
3. Netflix, video on demand - (http://netflix.com must be a member)
4. Commonspot Content Management system - http://www.paperthin.com/
5. You get the idea...

Thanks!
Keep up the good work. Opera FTW!

Nebli 4. October 2008, 17:28

Many thanks.

I use Opera on winXp an win98. This page http://www.theinquirer.es/ has a table with label "Lo último", displaying headlines, only in win98 this table justify the headlines and increasing/decreasing the height of table continuously, that is very annoying.

This problem presents in win98 standalone and over virtualPC

andresruiz 4. October 2008, 17:37

Wow, Desktop Team Working on Saturday ! You must have a lot of pressure.
Anyway thanks a lot, nice to know that not only here in Colombia people work on saturday awww
Please do not forget about bug#366365 (I think is a bug because Opera is the only browser whith that bug with overflow:auto; on:
http://andresruizperez.freehyperspace4.com/index2.html
UPDATE !
I've just installed Opera 9.27 to see if the problem persists, and I found that the problem is not on Opera 9.27 as you can see:

On the other hand, take a look at how Opera 9.5 and 9.6 show the same webpage:

Please solve it Desktop Team

kyleabaker 4. October 2008, 17:44

porneL 4. October 2008, 17:46

sa666666 4. October 2008, 18:00

The shortcut search dialog for the UNIX builds (accessed with Alt-Space) still isn't working correctly. Pressing Alt-Space brings up the dialog, and if Google is the default search engine, the word 'Google' appears as the title of the dialog box. However, the icon in the textfield is for 'Search in Page', and Google must be manually selected from the list every time. Also, if you go to select another engine and don't actually select anything (perhaps by pressing elsewhere in the dialog), the title goes away and no search engine is selected. I think the default (or even the previously selected one) should be selected in such a case.

piroxicam 4. October 2008, 18:11

I'm having a strange bug. Sometimes when I click on a link to open a new tab, that new tab is rendered as an all black screen. I have to scroll up and down for the images and text appear right. This just happens sporadicaly which is odd.

Micky 4. October 2008, 18:48

Nice build, but little unstable when many tabs opened. I got two (not reproducible) freezes just in a quick try.

I can confirm this problematic sites:
washingtontimes.com, cars.com, wbcn.com, be2.com

Opera Chat:
- Zoom button still not working
- (Online) status signs shown correctly only if you click on it
- Main title of Chat window changes to the front tab that is opened infront

[Intel, WinXP_SP3, O_RC2]
