The new unite homepage is a big improvement, thanks. But the field for some text is strange, it doesn't allow line breaks?

skin "bugs":
- When tab-thumbs are on the side, the new tab button does overlay the last tab if this is inactive. Additionally the very first tab overlays with buttons in tabbar tail.
- The space between buttons in pagebar tail is too big; when all buttons are taken out of tabbar tail, it disappears and cannot be "refilled"
- When another button is put in pagebar head to the menu button, the menu button becomes bigger

Pages in thumbnail previews aren't centered very well, this was better in the last builds.

I can't add dictionaries in this build. Can only use the installed dictionary English (US).

One of my two bugs are fixed, while both are listed as being fixed

Still not fixed On startup it wasn't there, but when I killed plasma, it was there again as being a large box, in previous builds, the box was only the size of the icon, which isn't any problem, but not with this large box.

The sys tray icon is also still not transparent of me , while it was already listed to builds ago

After I deleted and reinstalled Opera the sys tray icon behaved somewhat better, if I killed plasma, the sys tray icon appeared as small icon in the upper left corner, but when I started plasma again, before the sys tray icon found it's way to the sys tray, it was for a sec. a large black box again.

Still terrible performance, nearly 100% CPU usage while loading pages, making Opera absolutely unusable until I stop loading the page with escape/clicking on 'stop'. It actually forces me to use Arora recently (it's been like this since build 4529, I think.
32-bit openSUSE, KDE 4.3.

No problems here on openSUSE 11.1 32 bit using KDE 4.4 dev. (and KDE 4.3 before). You could try to delete Opera using YaST and install it back again, or cleaning/deleting (or moving) your profile, maybe that will help.

Confirmed on XP, and I haven't even tested this Snapshot yet, the missing bar is also (not) there in Windows Build 1703.

Edit: Just Upgraded, (still gone) but a request with the installer, considering the default is "Upgrade" (presumably if Opera is detected as installed) the "Set as default browser" checkbox should be checked (if the previous Opera is Default)

Also... Problem with "Windows Native" seemingly related to it:

It's using the "Opera Standard" buttons (which have their own problems, that weird blur) when in "Windows Native" skin.

Also, the (Main) Menu Button is transparent, which is kinda cool, but would be nice if it was in "Opera Standard" too.

I'm using the OS X build (clean install) by the way. The Add Dictionaries dialogue is empty.

Tried it with the last build, tried it again a while ago ─ didn't help. Still getting absurdly high CPU usage.
edit: and it doesn't matter if Unite is enabled or disabled.

opera unite suggestion
remove the "open service" and "start service" option when you right click file sharing, fridge etc. It was confusing at first, because this option appears at the top as well. Its like two buttons on the same page that does exactly the same thing. Redundant

It isn't like that anymore for me... Right click the button, customize, and 'reset toolbar to its defaults'.

lol, seriously though, a lot of people like to customize their interface, which may mean removing the top button from its bar.

Plus "Power Users" or "Advanced" or whatever, will use the context menu because it's quicker, both with the mouse, and using Tab + Menu Key (between Win and Ctrl)

Hmm, found a problem here (did it just for the hell of it, not because I wanted to) and it also reset my Panel buttons to default.

Don't use the Personal Bar, but...


It should either show all the Keys (img, gv, def, etc) or none of them instead of ignoring all the ones with a single Char as the Key.
