More snapshots
By Cato. Thursday, August 20, 2009 11:00:00 AM
Today you have two options to choose from: You can choose Opera 10.0 or Opera 10.10 with Unite. We're still working on polishing Opera Unite. We'll release the beta version of Opera 10.10 as soon as possible after the release of 10.0.
If you've installed any of the older snapshots or betas and set Opera to download all snapshots in opera:config you should automatically get updated to today's snapshots of Opera 10.0.
If you want to test out Unite, however, you'll have to download today's build of Opera 10.10 and install it manually. After that you'll be autoupdated to the next snapshot of Opera 10.10.
Highlights
- Opera should now run on FreeBSD 8
Known Issues
No AMD64 FreeBSD 7/8 build- Clicking the preview as a visitor in the photo sharing service does not work with restricted/private access
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Love the idea, because otherwise unite would delay the 10.0 release to long (I think)
No more black squares (I hope)

I didn't work in my case.
I've also got removed the Opera Link icon after installing the 10.0
Thanks god you are going to release 10 without unite, cause 9.64 is too outdated. Hope you finish 10 soon...

But browser.js is set to 1 after a complete new install. Checking for update or a manual set to 2 doesnt help downloading a new one.

(You can delete the 'opera_temp_profile' directory after testing)
After testing, submit a bug report giving details about your distro and distro version and exactly package you installed (the full name of the package will do). If it only happens in your regular profil ande not a clean profile perhaps you could tell us a little bit more about your Opera setup. The more detail the better.

Yes, I did set Opera to download and install snapshots automatically, but I did not say that I wanted my browser to close itself without warning, install the update and restart, which is what happened now.

Windows Panel: extend Windows Panel and right click on column (no name for URL column + can't close tab with mouse gesture):
Appearance-Buttons-Panels - Expand and Close buttons don't have any comment about its function, like all other buttons do:
Tools in different places got so confusing in Opera... You select which ones to have as panels, which is great. But independently one set of tools is available in Menu Bar - Tools, second in right clicking on Taskbar icon and third on Menu button. All set of tools appears randomly different:
