And a new build, for you! :smile:

We're fixing more and more bugs, and our webapps team is getting closer to the ideal design for Unite Applications. But many of the recent changes in the Unite Applications didn't make it into the builds. How about album art in the media player? You got it, but only from the Opera Unite application repository.

Highlights
  • Many Unicode fixes for Unite
  • Unite local (IP-address) connections to Mac should work now. If you have more than one machine on your network, you can see others running Unite by clicking the Unite icon, or right-clicking the Unite panel
  • Text-shadows in Opera Widgets on Windows aren't magenta anymore
  • Switch to use PNG instead of XPM for the application icon on UNIX. Should improve the icon in most Desktop Environments, but it is also a bit buggy at the moment

WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

in qt4 linux the task tray icon looks much better but the systemtray icon still has the gray background

The no message indication is certainly a lot better (more neutral to theme color changes) and so is the XPM to PNG icon change in Linux.

But still not able to view 10s and 100s of Tamil and Hindi websites correctly due to the font rendering issue which has been reported for quite sometime now in Linux.

Is this supposed to affect old mails? Because my newsfeeds views still contain imap e-mails.

Not fixed for me, bug still happens with search engines ecc ecc, Actually now i see and not %20 anymore.

does Turbo actually work consistently? I keep getting messages that it can't establish a connection (even on some MyOpera pages)

It doesn't bother me that it doesn't Turbo all my page requests but the pop up is annoying - any way to turn it off?

- The "Mail Compose Window Skin" are not Native
- If i move a mail from Inbox to anywhere, Opera just copy and not move the mail. (imap)
- The Scrollbar Knob (vertical) on Windows Classic Skin are not correct.
- Why is a Pagebar-backgroundimage in Windows Native Skin?

- can't auto update from b.1792 is there any hack in config to really "download al snapshots" ?
- also now I see that "Auto Update State" goes back to 0 after restarting Opera (b. 1799 Vista SP2)
- new "no message selected" to bright IMO
- Uneite paned disappeared after updating

Confirmed on Snow Leopard (10.6.1) with latest flash. They play fine in Safari so looks like issue with Opera. You should open up a bug ticket make sure to note that they do work in Safari and this is an OSX (or maybe just non-windows) issue.

They kinda work for me in OSX. If you use the arrow/enter key on keyboard it will search ok in google. If you use mouse to select "Search the Web" it fails giving message:

The URL http://Search the Web for "bla bla bla" contains characters that are not valid in the location they are found.

Note, in error message you actually see the html tags rather than text in bold so it's like this without the spaces: "< b>bla</ b> < b>bla</ b> < b>bla< /b>"

hiding the "new tab" button still makes the "deleted tabs" button disappear when the tab bar is on the left p:

Opera is not updated with Ubuntu updater and Auto Update don't find new Opera?

On Windows i just over install with Classic setup and that's about it...

Sorry, I thought you wanted it to stop saying that you are on a slow connection. (That is in a pop-up form too so that is what caused me to think that.)

I imported about 20000 mails from Eudora 7, and most of them show "Warning: While decoding this file Opera encountered errors." in red when I try to view them. If I select "view all headers and message" from the right click menu the message opens as HTML rendered as plain text.

Yay! The widgets icons are fixed! :cool:

But the problem with Feed Reader Widgets from Widgetize still not working properly. When I click on them to read the news, they don't do anything and some freeze.

Try to load the widget on the address bar of this page to see what I mean.

Problem with download manager:
When many files downloaded the opera freeze when download manager focused. Possibly it's because the icons of files must be loaded. Windows Vista x32, Windows 7 x64.
