Prompt Reporting

It's just too hard to find a good title for this blog post, so I used a random word generator to come up with one. It even almost makes sense.
Anyway..
Here's another round of builds from the busy bees in the Desktop team.
As for Opera Unite, we focused on improving how easy it is to find and start Unite. The Unite panel is open by default (for now) in clean installs, and we made it easier to install and start Unite applications from a web page. For that, we introduced version checking of the Unite applications.
Other than that, the Unite applications have been updated (and the Sonar testing application has been removed), and we have Core fixes for application discovery and encoding issues. So the applications should now work with files that have Russian or Chinese characters.
Also, if you experienced problems with plug-ins on Mac in the last snapshot, that should be fixed now (still present on *nix, you'll get the fix next time 'round there).
Happy testing!
Known Issues
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

It relates to this change in the Mac section:
That is your problem and the same fix needs to be applied on UNIX.
Granted we probably should have stuck it in the known issues, but at least it is mentioned.

The applications are still called "services" on unite.opera.com (it's been 3 weeks) and sonar is still available on the site.
Can we have a date for the release of Opera 10.1 please ? It's been a month, now. Unite should have been a part Opera 10, it should have been its best new feature and now it's been a month.

Also, I can upgrade as often as I want without the "upgrade to newer version only" check kicking in.

I'd like to know what issue this is. The bug I reported US-1176 ("FileStream#write ignores both charset argument and FileStream#encoding property") is still there.

If Downloads Tab is open and active (with, or without, active transfers) and some other window is moved across Opera window, CPU goes over 50% CPU load. Peaks are hit when Opera needs to refresh, and redraw, list of downloaded files.

After careful research, I found that this is a reference to the Weekly Intelligence Review, a clandestine meeting of Opera glitterati whose sole purpose is to decide when major releases should occur. It's invitation only, and obviously you're not invited.
