Unite fixes and Opera Link
By Haavardhaavard. Friday, November 20, 2009 11:00:00 AM
Opera Link should be working without having to log in every time you start Opera. We have also fixed a crash in the Unite setup wizard, and fixed a bug where the Unite password is remembered even if "remember password" is unchecked.
The default message in Opera Mail is now translated again.

*UPDATE*: I want to report a "regression" in the past two snapshots. Opera Link has continuously gives the message shown below and Opera Link keeps "syncing" or tries to sync. I have to manually exit Opera. This happens every time I try to shutdown Opera

Looked in the mail.css. It contains 2 data uris with escaped SVG statements. According to the error console both are faulty.

Your browser does not run Opera Unite applications
Please download Opera 10.10 beta before launching Opera Unite applications.

Speedy snapshots release this week! Now refine the last things and give us an alpha build of Opera 10.X (maybe 10.5 ?) with Carakan!

I use awesome wm, and when I run Opera, blank "icon" appears in tray. It's blank until I right-click it, then menu is shown and brand new Opera icon appears. At last.
Anyone else sees that?

Noticed this page has dead links, nothing is clickable; refresh doesn't fix it. OSX-intel v10.5.8.

Great to see this Opera Link issue fixed.. but - like in some prev. builds - Flash content is not always recognized on some pages, e.g. http://www.marketwatch.com/ ...
Otherwise - a great snapshot!

I'm using Opera on a machine with Vista HP, by the way..

I tried to access http://xxxx.xxxxxxx.operaunite.com/
And got this error
"You tried to access an Opera Unite application that is currently unavailable."
But I did not try to access an application, just the user's home page.
The error message also included this:
"You can check at http://my.opera.com/xxxxxx/unite/ to see if they are running any other Opera Unite applications"
I did and they were.
It seems that typing a user's url, without including an application in the url, results in an error message.

How can I prevent Opera from re-adding the Firefox plugin directory to Plugin Path after each restart of Opera?
I'm using beta plugins with Firefox to test, and it doesn't make much sense to include them when testing Opera snapshots since I could run into bugs that are related to the beta plugins from the Firefox plugin directory. In the past, removing the path from opera:config was saved permanently...

Did U ever think about sueing bluO for their logo? I still try to encourage you to do so -> http://alturl.com/preview.php?id=gwhi | http://www.blu-o.lu/ Ok, seriously, what do you say to that after comparing? I'd like to know, and btw(!): I 'hate' blu-o. Don't let us go political here please.

Or Maybe Cirque De Soleil...etc, etc... all it would end up doing, is either get laughed out of court if it even made it that far, or end up costing a bunch of time and money, and negative advertising for Opera.
