Something for the weekend?
By Ruarí Ødegaardruario. Saturday, November 21, 2009 9:55:47 AM

The main fix here is to DSK-271546 (After signing up for a new account, Opera isn't automatically logged in after restart), so please make sure this is working for you.
Thanks in advance for the testing!

I could not find clear information about the meaning of the "Auto Update State" value (default value is 0, but it permits not only 0 and 1, so I cannot guess what would be the right value, and what importance has that indicator

On Linux builds there's no need in autoupdate, package managers and repos do the job.

It regards a Linux dependency unsatisfiable error; this might have importance for people working on linux boxes with older distros, where they are allowed to install new software, but not to upgrade the distro itself.
The problem is that some of the latest Linux Intel Qt3 gcc3 builds (4728, 4738), including the current one (the previous 4740 didn't offer the gcc3 variant) give a dependency error when trying to install on Ubuntu 6.06. It's about the Qt3 version build with gcc3 (that is, files named like opera_10.10.47??.gcc3.qt3_i386.deb). The message error was:
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libqt3c102-mt
However, I remarked later that this error could be avoided if using the gcc4 variant of those builds (filename pattern opera_10.10.47??.gcc4.qt3_i386.deb).
Less important, I know, but it would be nice to have those packages self contained, as they were until linux build 4725.
Otherwise, the latest builds seem to be incredibly stable

After Reloading the page, the problem disappears.
This gets into the pages of Cyrillic. This is obtained after renewed to 10.10-1892.Now work with,10.10-1893,but the problem remains.

I've never seen anything like it, though I browse lots of Cyrillic websites (Russian ones), Bulgarian community page opens in full Cyrillic glory too. But I run Linux.

You shouldn't be using the gcc3 builds for Ubuntu 6.06, nor for the Centos 4.x series. That is why it errors. It is the wrong package. Any distro with at least gcc3.4.* will actually work with the gcc4 builds. You can check which version of gcc is available for a given distro version via the tables on distro watch. All of this has been covered before but you can read this for more details.

Issues similar to these:
http://my.opera.com/community/forums/findpost.pl?id=3183052
WRT Opera Unite Settings, if I overtyped my username and password with the same characters in those fields, Unite became enabled but only for that session. On Opera restart the problems reappeared.
I had not seen these issues prior to build 1893 and after reverting to build 1892, the problem is gone.
[EDIT][EDIT]I just revisited my 1893 installation (after clearing the cache) and things seem to be running normally. Fingers crossed.
