Here's some issues I found at first glance:

http://xs.to/image-BBF1_4B7841E9.jpg -
IRC client thumbnails broken and facebook rendering problems.

GroovyMicky Sunday, February 14, 2010 6:45:26 PM

@redpok: confirmed Facebook problem.

@Opera team: Why don't you add words like "drag any button to desired toolbar" in Appearance > Buttons ? New users don't even know for those superior Opera functions. It's just confusing to them, so many items in menus, some listed twice... confused

I don't know if this was already reported or not, but everytime I click on a personal bar favicons/bookmarks they change their position... It's a weird behaviour.

GroovyMicky Sunday, February 14, 2010 10:48:55 PM

Official Java test page still doesn't detects plugin in Opera and wrongly notifies user: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

MNmniess Sunday, February 14, 2010 11:03:46 PM

The Windows Beta crashes as soon as I open the new "Buzz" in GMail.

Strange... Maybe it only effects old profiles? What OS are you running? I am using Windows 7 Pro. 32-bit

Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, I was talking about the Opera profile. My deviantART account is a couple of years old.
I'm on Windows XP, 32-bit.
Did you guys try it with a new Opera profile?

Danieledarklink88 Sunday, February 14, 2010 11:47:27 PM

The "find in page as you type" function doesn't work on mac and also on windows it's still buggy after a clean install.

Another regression from v10.10 I forgot to mention:

When loading large images, Opera only displays the first ~5% and then stops showing the rest during the download until the image completely loaded.

For example, have a look at todays full size picture from Astronomy Picture of the Day.

Confirmations?

Nope... We arent talking about the same thing here... whistle I am talking about a deviantART Profile. Login to your profile and then start clicking on categories and sub-categories. Soon you will see the error smile

Titanium GerbilTitaniumGerbil Monday, February 15, 2010 2:25:16 AM

DeviantArt has some javascript which will drop down a bar when you click on a pic and start to drag. You can drop the pic onto the bar to add it to your favourites. This works all the time for me in 10.1, but only some of the time in 10.5.

It seems we are getting even more confused now. p You said "maybe it only effects old profiles", but when I was talking about a "new profile", I wasn't talking about the deviantART account, I was talking about the Opera profile folder. Again, my deviantART account is couple of years old, and why should only older deviantART accounts be effected?
I don't see that error on deviantART, neither when being logged in, nor when being logged out, and that's why I suggested that you should try it again with a new Opera (!) profile. It might be that your configuration files are somehow corrupted and cause strange behavior on certain pages, so it's always a good idea to check what happens to problematic websites when using Opera with default settings.

Yes, Win 7 32bit.

Erunno Monday, February 15, 2010 7:24:12 AM

When turning off Aero Glass (e.g. automatically for games) Opera starts to draw the title bar again above the tabs. Chrome (and presumably the next Firefox judging by the mockups) do not do this and it would be great if Opera could adapt this behaviour as well.

Vista X86 SP3

The last three times I have closed this 10.5 beta, I have gotten the crash dialog, stating the program had an error and had to close.

I sent the crash dialog report the first two times without comment. Next time it happens, I guess I will comment that "what I was doing" at the time of the crash was closing opera.

nikitashiamhorny Monday, February 15, 2010 8:26:17 AM

Even the crash reporter is buggy it also need fixes.bigsmile

WillYum Monday, February 15, 2010 8:27:03 AM

This new version looks great but man am I running into personal showstoppers. Gmail & Google Apps Mail work only sporadically and different errors. Everything from "Not Accepting Cookies" to "Unavailable" (Google Messages) to simply not loading an email when I click it (it just does nothing).

Likewise, I've had some serious lag when operating with 2 windows open and multiple tabs (20 or so). It'll just hang for 20 to 40 seconds. If I try and close a tab it'll take like 12 seconds. If I try and open a new tab, same deal. Very weird.

Mibbit.com doesn't load skins now (worked before, now, it loads their javascript app but not the user skin as it is supposed to). Worked 10.10.

Though, it looks like some of the crashes have been fixed I'm not sure why I'm having so many problems with some of my primary sites.

Fingers Crossed.

Yum

dual monitor issues in win 7 x64:
i've got 2 monitors each of them connected to 2 vcards, main card is onboard, secondary is 8800gt, 8800 is set to main monitor in windows properties but its number 2, win7 even makes it main by default, because it is more powerful. sometimes opera tab preview windows appear on "onboard monitor" (monitor 1, opera is on the 2nd) (even they are off in settings) so do "download complete hint"... when i temporaly make onboard monitor main (monitor 1 and opera is on the 2nd), and then switch back to 8800 as main (monitor 2, opera is here too) i can see this behaviour 100%..

Have you ever thought to implement enabling/disabling javascript per-site (or even better per-domain name) in a comfortable manner like in NoScript extension for Firefox?
A already like the possibility to set it by editing site preferences, though it's not possible to set scripts depending on domain name, but i think providing an easy to access menu, like in NoScript can make Opera more popular among those who wouldn't try any other browser than FF because of the ease of use of NoScript.

nikitashiamhorny Monday, February 15, 2010 10:15:29 AM

opera turbo sometimes show x104 in status icon in bottom.
typical is 4x,8x,12x.... and soon but x104 is huge maybe some text problem.

Also opera turbo works on some sites not on always.

Danieledarklink88 Monday, February 15, 2010 10:23:06 AM

Bug on Mcosx. When opera downloads a file very small (few Mb or even Kb) the growl notification doesn't appear.
BTW... what about a new build?p

Hélio Costahlegius Monday, February 15, 2010 10:46:44 AM

Password Reminder could has a keyboard Shortcut for "Never" option smile

BTW... what about a new build ? Linux version is too unstable yet with some bugs sad

- Configuration buttons at Speed dial window doesn't work.
- Unexpected closes occurs (I'm reporting all :])
- Fonts doesn't has anti-aliasing (not in websites, but in Opera)

and Opera could integrate with OpenGL for an Opera's Transparent Skin bigsmile

well, good job guys ! Opera rules !

Hélio Costahlegius Monday, February 15, 2010 10:58:50 AM

Hey, take a look: http://twitpic.com/13dxlx/full

I just switched to another virtual workspace and when I returned to first one, Opera Window's size has been crashed :/

After this, take a look where my "helper" address bar was located: http://twitpic.com/13dy3a/full

Strange bug !

This build having jerky performance while opening tabs and closing tabs not so smooth as previous build 3241, make special effects and GUI animations as smooth as possible i know its hard but its possible. And also memory management not working as expected be specific goto preferences>history>memory cache make it 100 mb cache and when u close all tabs the memory is not releasing properly. I am confused but i think u understand what i am trying to say I hope.knockout angel

How can I avoid previews of all tabs opened in Opera in Windows7 dock bar?

I'd like I had preview of active tab only, like in Opera 10.1!

Someone please help me! smile

Go to opera:config#UserPrefs|UseWindows7TaskbarThumbnails, untick, save then restart.

But I'd recommend people giving the default option a chance as this is likely to become more common in Windows 7 applications. bigsmile

EDIT: oh and I've noticed that, when using multiple monitors (in Win7 64bit), if you hover over a browser tab the preview will display on a different screen. This seems to happen when there are >3 tabs.
