Great, didn't want to install the previous build because of the Win. 7 crash known issue (although I have thumbnails disabled)

bug Using the context menu button on the keyboard in a text field does open the right menu, but the spelling options are missing (add word, remove word, the suggestions, the "Dictionaries" menu et cetera). Known issue, or should I report it?

Hello, will there be geolocation support again?

Rafał MiłeckiZajec Sunday, February 21, 2010 12:36:39 PM

Do you have some plans (expected time?) for introducing video seeking?

Honzah4nney Sunday, February 21, 2010 12:37:49 PM

Thanks for answer. I'm looking forward to it.

Upgrade Failure... 10.1 to 10.5 XP SP3, MSI

Usually (at least previously) it was toolbar.ini... so deleting that worked... this time, deleting that, operaprefs, sessions, etc... still fails...

Sent a report...

Msi install had the same prob as previous build, when to install, progress bar never moved and I had to kill 6 or 7 procceses.
That was while the install dir was \Opera v10.50\, and not my main browser dir.

When set to \Opera\ it wanted to repair my install.

Both setups were the previous build, both had there prefs ini set for each dir.

So it's sctually worse then before.

Classic installer worked perfect while in the \Opera v10.50\ folder.
However it tries to pick C:\ as default even when it should know that my main browser/opera is on H:\.

It seems most of "my" previous issues are still around.
And it seems slower maybe, it defently seems slower from min use then the alpha builds.

Also, if you are going to be promoting HTML5 Video... for *expletive* sake... swap the the "Media Sound Off" and "Media Sound On" icons... it's a 30 second job...

WOW! Working Sundays!? Crazy! Thank you!

NicoHellbillyDeluxe Sunday, February 21, 2010 1:04:46 PM

Thanks a lot for the new Build smile

Everytime I try to watch the movie from Friday, Opera freezes and I need to kick the process (Windows 7 x64). I upgraded from Friday's Windows Snapshot, if that matters.

Still problem in e-mail client: if you double click a message title in message list, an empty window opens. When you switch View -> Display -> Prefer Plain text / HTML, the message appears, but the tool bar seems to be inadequate: no previous/next button

Yeah, sorry... it wouldn't start, just show the crash report dialog.

Going through each of the start-up options, no change... I'll try again later and try and narrow it down, all I know is that it's something in the 10.1 profile... deleting it entirely...started fine...

In other news, upgrading 10.5 3263 to 3266... but this may not be Opera's fault... 2 of my RSS feeds reset their %whatever% that tells them what I have read or not... both LifeHacker and Slashdot (in case anyone else has those and it's the RSS feeds themselves), reset to about 12 hours ago.

Did you add your e-mail address (the one you use in your profile)? I may be able to search the crash database.

Oh, and could everyone please try to focus on the actual snapshot? This is not the right place to post or discuss requests.

I removed the offtopic post seeing you guys removed the others.

Are you using a desktop firewall or other ad-blocking software that might restrict access to Google Analytics?

yihtangyihtang0711 Sunday, February 21, 2010 2:12:05 PM

1.
Windows Live Hotmail not working

upgrade from previous build.. This problem exists starting from build 3261. Before that everything ok. Windows 7 Prof 32bit.

2.
Cookies problem

when opera crash, the cookies all lost. Sometimes I can't login facebook or blogger because those sites report that my functional cookies are not turned on. I go to Preference and choose "accept cookies", but problem still persist.

Anyone can confirm?

illiad Sunday, February 21, 2010 2:13:45 PM

Um, do you REALLY NEED Google Analytics ???? I find it slows down many sites.....

Sulphide Sunday, February 21, 2010 2:16:46 PM

good! previous build gave too many crashes almost everywhere... testing this one smile

Mike de Munckmikedemunck Sunday, February 21, 2010 2:23:12 PM

Couple of issues:

1. Insert from note greyed out.
2. <copy> in the context menu is sometimes missing
3. GDI leak (known issue in the previous build, but still present)
4. Google.com/ig becomes unusable after some time (it's impossible to click on anything on that page) DSK-278361
5. Gadgets do not work on profile pages on www.hyves.nl (I think I submitted a bugreport about this, but I'm not sure. This has been present in all 10.50 builds).

That's it for now.

M.

cyb0y Sunday, February 21, 2010 2:24:22 PM

This build really dont crash on Win7 Pro 32bit. It crash only on Java as b3261 (and previous builds).
