New build for you guys
By Helge Gjølmehelgeag. Tuesday, February 23, 2010 10:52:30 AM
Our core department has been working on improving Opera's cache, and this is the first build with these updates.
This build should also be more stable on Windows after running a long time due the fixing of a GDI leak which could cause crashes and freezing tendencies.
A new Mac build will be uploaded a little later today
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: it contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Issues:
- Windows Live Hotmail (mail.live.com) still not working...
- "O" button should be nicer (revert to the first pre-alpha build)
- Opera link default button should be reused in the status bar
Great things:
- text not longer blurry! Thanks!
MyOpera team, please fix this!fearphage # Tuesday, February 23, 2010 11:33:32 AM

But it duplicated the Shortcut on the desktop, rather than updating/changing the one that was already there (which it normally does)
Everything else seems good to go (so far) excluding missing context menu's, and lack of Paste on some of them...
Also, another menu thing, in places like Search Engines - Edit... if the text in the search engine name is selected, it has a simple context menu (without Paste) if the text isn't selected, it has the same context menu as Forms/Textarea on webpages.
(other than bookmarks.adr/old, search.ini, urlfilter.ini, and speeddial.ini was a clean profile)
Edit: "Media Sound Off/On" Icons still need to be swapped.
New Tab button [+] on Tab Bar, when tabs are at bottom, still needs it's own hover image (does a 69 type flip on hover, lol)
opera:config still has that really boring/broken CSS all white/black trim, with X, and Loading... at the bottom.
Still can't remove items from "My Buttons", nor remove items from toolbars when Appearance dialog open.

Could not use automatic proxy config, because Opera doesn't save the settings and doesn't use it.
Last Version working well was 3260, since then Opera doesn't work for me.

Pls add support for spoof new browsers, like Firefox 3.5, or Chrome, or IE8... It's needed for many sites.

i hope your report was more specific than this post BtW. "cannot use" is not very descriptive.

Haven't seen one since 10.20.
Perhaps I missed something?

Add image, add smile, add Links, add v.s button, not open error.

Now my complain
This hapens in every 10.50 snapshot and not in opera 10.10 i have QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.5 instaled in a clean install (not only desinstall opera but eliminated folder of opera in document and setting)
Win Xp servicepack 3
Vectronic # Tuesday, February 23, 2010 12:37:38 PM
So, I'm guessing that whatever the first mail/rss item is that Opera sees, gets stuck in omailbase.dat.
Deleting omailbase.dat works for one session, then it just picks that same message out of indexer or wherever, and tosses it back into omailbase.dat... off-by-one issue.
XP SP3.
