Still crashes frequently (every 10 sec. to 2 min.) on http://bing.com/maps/explore
Sent a couple of crash logs (for this and the previous build).

The issues with cookies ( http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=467671 ) are turning into a serious "blocker" to 10.5. Can someone investigate this?

Anyone having problems with opera link? I've realized I can't sync notes at all. Changes made in opera notes don't appear in opera link notes web page and changes done in opera link notes web page don't appear in the browser notes. Bookmarks however are working...

extremely slow at *.deviantart.com, but for deviantart.com is very fast.
example http://yihtang.deviantart.com/
not sure whether is Opera rendering problem or deviantart problem.

Update: I think is Opera's problem. IE 8 loads in seconds but Opera takes a few minutes (yet still unable to load completely)

I tried with IE, loads in 2s, Opera turbo loads in 5 seconds, Opera without Turbo stuck at Element 13/14. I cleared my private data and tried again, but same. Is there any tweak for JavaScript rendering?

why so less changelog.....

BrookeChookWoods Thursday, March 18, 2010 10:58:00 AM

not sure where people are pulling the peacekeeper score improvements from... on first run i noticed a drop in score 10.51 rc1 to 10.51 rc3... second run netted a marginally higher score, but still drops in certain sections.

i know theres a bug reporting system. but id just like the point out that the bug fixed a few snapshots back in the 10.50 betas, regarding the white line between the status bar and taskbar on windows 7... its still there if you have the taskbar set anywhere other than the bottom of the screen.

Loaded in about 5 seconds for me in both Opera and IE, but IE failed to load the ad properly.

The variables themselves are fine, the problem you are seeing is that the 'execute program' action doesn't send *any* value to the external program when invoked from a custom menu. If you use the same 'execute program' actions in a custom toolbar or custom keyboard shortcuts, they'll work. The issues with 'execute program' is bugged as DSK-288361.

To those of you who hate benchmark discussions - sorry in advance. ;)

When I run Peacekeeper, Opera only utilize 50% of my Core 2 Duo CPU. Is this normal behavior (e.g. that's just the way Opera works, or because I use 32 bit OS or... I don't know, I know little about HW) ? It seems that's why my results for Opera 10.51 is lower than the results of Chrome 5.0.342.5. Chrome uses 60-80% of my CPU when running the tests.

Opera 10.51.3313 - 3964 Points
Opera 10.51.3315 - 4010 Points
Chrome 5.0.342.5 - 4296 Points

(Also, should my scores be approx. at these values? Laptop specs: Intel Core2Duo T7500 2.20 Ghz + 128 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS + 3GB (2+1) 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM)

bhsand Thursday, March 18, 2010 11:30:04 AM

HBO.com does not allow me to enter, claiming that I use a Flash version older than 9.0.124. I am actually using Flash Player 10.1 beta 3 (10.1.51.95).

I've never seen this issue anywhere else, so I suppose it's HBO's fault, but perhaps it should be fixed through browser.js?

Edit: Seems I was too quick. The page says that I don't meet the "minimum requirements", which is Flash Player 9+ and IE6+ or FF2+. However, masking UA string doesn't work.

That's awesome. Only a little improvement now and we can beat the highest results for Peacekeeper currently held by Chrome. up
