On a roll: Opera 10.51 for Windows released
By Haavardhaavard. Monday, March 22, 2010 10:00:00 AM
Opera 10.51 (build 3315) for Windows has been released.
Now even faster than before!
For example, Peacekeeper can be up to 20-30% faster than in Opera 10.50 (in fact, Opera 10.51 is currently listed as being part of the fastest system at Peacekeeper). Read more about the performance improvements at Choose Opera and the Opera Developer Network (you can also read about how Google's tests show that Opera has the most compliant JavaScript engine).
This release also addresses a couple of security issues, as well as various stability improvements and other bug fixes. Please see the changelog for more details.
Opera 10.51 final is a Windows-only release, but we are working hard on bringing the Mac and Unix versions to product quality. The build is the same as RC3.
As this is a security release, it will be available as an automatic update for Opera 10.50 and older versions that support automatic updates.

Thanks for the new browser updates! The theme is very crisp and quite nice visually. Not too much and not too little.

(and those aren't all that I noticed)
1. PDF bug. If I open *.pdf file in Opera (using Acrobat plugin), I will be able to see this file, but after closing tab with it or after minimizing Opera, or...
Anyway, after opening pdf I get crashes. BTW, not single; sometimes there are two or three crashes in a row.
2. Opera Variables like ''%T'' or ''%U'' etc. They doesn't work since 10.50! It's really bad. I can't use some add-ons, like Download Master, oGet, QSaver... and, maybe, others.
3. WML bug with links that lead to cards.
Example:
Go forward
This link MUST open the card with id "g51". But it only adds #51 in adressbar, and nothing happens.
I can open needed card only if I open link in new tab or copy needed url with card id, paste it in adrbar and press 'enter'.
In older versions there were no problems.
BTW, some tags like:
<anchor><go href="#card"/>...</anchor>
or other tags with <go href=...> work without problems.
So, I tired of spamming support with bug reports... So I post it here. I hope that you will fix all this. Thanks.
P.S. WinXP, Opera 10.51 (3315)

Version: 10.51

Map at bottom of article loads, then turns black. Works fine in FF, except that it seems to go straight to Street View. Maybe an error in the page is being interpreted differently by FF and Opera?

When done you will be taken to another page which will provide you with an email address. The name in the email address is the bug number (looks like DSK 123456). Leave the bug number here without the rest of the email address (to prevent the mailbox from getting spammed).

What was the bug number? When you forgot to write it down look up the second page in the browser's History and reopen the page. You will get the email address with the bug number again (the bug number is coded in the address of the page).
