Danieledarklink88 Tuesday, April 20, 2010 2:33:14 PM

Very good!...since it's RC2 i don't think that we would have other UI/skin changes for mac right? cry Well, i guess i'll have to wait for opera 11 bigsmile

Does "Never-stops-loading on some pages" mentioned in the Known Issues mean that it is more problematic with this version than it was with previous builds?

No it is the same.

Widget freezes on connecting to debugger

Nice to see this one fixed up

bhsand Tuesday, April 20, 2010 2:45:05 PM

Instant crash on www.onecall.no if Shockwave player plugin is missing. Can anyone confirm?

Win7-32.

karlosrocks Tuesday, April 20, 2010 2:49:47 PM

The bug DSK-294755 is still present. My bank account page isn't displayed properly. Banco de Chile is one of the biggest banks here, so what can I do to send to the Opera team the proper info to fix the bug?

cheers
"tag" friends on status with "@friendname" still not possible in facebook. Hopefully, it will work soon

karlosrocks Tuesday, April 20, 2010 2:51:45 PM

BTW, Finally Facebook sharing options are working ok!

Jimmy Tsatsosjimmy_tsatsos Tuesday, April 20, 2010 2:52:15 PM

A little bug! Just enter http://www.e-shop.gr/ to notice that the left menu is not working when the banner "Join us on Facebook" is open!
When you close the banner the menu works.

(In FF the menu works even if the banner is up and running!)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (SP1 beta) and Opera v10.52 build 3366!

sebt Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:00:54 PM

Nice smile

I thought that significant progress had been made on NSL... What's the situation compared with say 10.51, and 2 or 3 builds ago?

Arguggi Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:01:13 PM

Flash 10.1 beta and mouse gestures together seem to cause crashes randomly, still haven't been able to pin point the problem on a particular page though

Vista Basic 32

Fixed CORE-29241 (Widget freezes on connecting to debugger)

That's nice, if you can even RUN a widget. I can't run them (the only one I have atm though, Garfield comic) without it crashing before it even does anything. Snapshot build 6317 and it's predecessor on Ubuntu 9.04 using the tar.gz build as stand alone setup. Gonna check if it works now.

Nope, still broken, all widgets just fail to load. No report can be viewed whatsoever. Strange thing is, the Widget is the only thing that crashes, Opera itself stays as it is.

IusedtobeOOlli91 Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:04:46 PM

Do I REALLY have to make a comment on video resizing on youtube? I think around 5 peolple wrote under the last RC, that it does NOT work, and it STILL doesn't! So PLEASE FIX IT!! Opera can't go final with such a big bug in it!

This works here on win7 64.

It runs in a separate process hence why Opera itself stays up. Yes, this is known and we have a fixed lined up but would like to test further.

Youtube change of resolution, size and fullscreen works perfectly for me with this built.

Arguggi Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:13:39 PM

The sputnik test (http://sputnik.googlelabs.com/run) still doesn't finish (stops at 99%) and RAM usage goes up to 1.6 GB ( I only have 2 GB installed), did any one already report a bug?

Vista Basic 32

MFMathieuF Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:14:48 PM

Opera crashes on Google Maps : Opera uses 100% of the CPU, it's impossible to click anywhere or to change tab. The only solution is to kill Opera.

Fedora 12 x64 KDE 4.4.2 and opera-10.52-6320.x86_64.rpm.

Edit : I think it has been crashing for 2 builds, but I'm not sure...

Tomas Mysiktmysik Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:18:05 PM

Acid3 test still fails (the same as for the previous build).

Linux 64-bit, Kubuntu, KDE 4.4.2

Sereby Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:18:33 PM

Still got some problems with fieldsets with this Build:
http://sereby.org/fieldset_bug_opera.html

Sometimes it looks good - sometimes not. If it looks good -> just select the title and deselect it and it will have a strike-out again sad

Gets 100/100 on Opensuse (32-bit). Perhaps you have a userscript that is interfering with the test?

Sorry, apparently something wrong in my old Opera profile. With a new profile, it works.

Then it is something about your setup. It works fine.

Changing size does not work for me at all...Flash 10.1 RC of course, but as I already said it works on all other browsers.

Opera won't load: http://www.sharebuilder.com/
XML parsing error. Win XP

edvakf Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:36:23 PM

Still buggy shortcuts.
Platform Mac, { Command=Switch to previous page
does not work on the left most tab. Instead it fires "Back"

Ivan IvanovSasko88 Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:36:31 PM

I haven't seen this bug reported so here I go:
Every time I open opera the last opened panel is opened, regardless of whether it was opened or closed before leaving opera.
This happens with every panel, Mail, Transfers, Bookmarks and even custom bookmarks added as panels.

I have this issue since build 3363.

edvakf Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:38:18 PM

IME with keydown EventListener is still totally messed up. Please don't ignore us...

CuppaGoo Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:38:32 PM

When 'Enable On Demand Plugin' is set to true in opera:config, YouTube still displays the 'Old Flash? Go Upgrade!' message, and PDFs simply do not load. Same as last build.

Hope this is fixed soon, since I love the On-Demand Plugin feature smile

Resizing the video works fine for me (as does changing the quality) but YouTube keeps forgetting the settings and reverts to the small 360p player at random. I put it down to teething problems with the new video player page (which has a variety of other issues, such as needing to "Click to activate this control" as the player is no longer embedded with JavaScript and the way they broke it entirely the other day for Opera users).

When will be able to remove opera menu icon again?

Hoborgoperaton Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:46:57 PM

Rafael Luikrafaelluik Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:48:12 PM

In 10.10 it was possible to point a link or button with the mouse and pressing enter the link or button is clicked. That was a unique feature of Opera.

Was that removed for some reason or is it a bug?
(Win7)

It's still possible by setting placement to off, as it supposed to do

Is it possible to make master password request dialog in the same style as js alerts? At this moment master password dialog on startup is left behind main window and I should select it explicitly to enter password.

Vi Bashbashvi Tuesday, April 20, 2010 3:58:34 PM

I'm using the Pre of Opera 10.5X since about 3 weeks on my Ubuntu 9.10 64bit. Got several problems.

1. The browser crashes when I try to save a picture with "save picture...". I can select the place to save it, and Opera even does save it, but afterwards it crashes.

2. When I press the "configure Speed Dial" button, nothing happens.

3. The Sun-Java6-plugin from the multiverse repository is not recognized/ used by Opera 10.5X, even after specifying the path (http://lh3.ggpht.com/_0CwX3Yps3wg/S83N7M8NaLI/AAAAAAAAAVs/hlIz61_Wq8g/Screenshot-Plug-ins.png).
The plugin works fine in Firefox and Chrome.

No problem here. Both this and the previous builds completed the sputnik test with 81 fails on XP SP2 and 7 x64(both systems installed on the same PC). I have 2gb ram only too, but Opera behaved very well during the test - every time the RAM taken passed above 450mb Opera somehow managed to put it down to 250mb. On XP SP2 it's the same picture.
Maybe someone with Vista should confirm this problem

Jimtoyotabedzrock Tuesday, April 20, 2010 4:02:56 PM

You listed "Fixed DSK-293920 (Flip4Mac plugin crashes Opera)" twice in the Mac changelog.

Also the word "changelog" is absent from the English spell check dictionary.
