Fixing crash bugs for Unix beta release
By Haavardhaavard. Friday, April 30, 2010 2:52:00 PM
This build mostly has stability fixes, but there are a couple of fixes for issues with TLS, and CPU and memory usage. See the changelog for all the details.
We have also re-enabled pubsuffix, so let us know if you encounter any "Never Stops Loading" (NSL) problems, such as the "Waiting for DNS confirmation of cookie domain(s)" message in the progress bar (when set to appear at the bottom).
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: it contains the latest changes, but may also have severe issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Since yesterday I installed Ubuntu. And I still have Vista.
What is relevant for each ?

And despite apparent focus on unix, core fixes are one of the most significant since early 1050.

Also input type="text" controls are too small using KDE 4 widgets.
Windows: crash when printing on the this site. Print dialog appears and Opera goes 100% CPU. Was working at 10.51, but started crashing since 10.52 pre-releases.

Also, no effort seems to be made to keep context menus on one monitor.

It is back, i reproduced the way i always have on my machine.
Load 20+ tabs simultaneously, wait for some time, then manually crash/kill opera, on restart some tabs/sites show this msg.
BUT the sites are loading fully. after they show this message, and other tabs have loaded up, the problem site loads normally.
So msg is shown sometimes, but site loads up fully soon enough eventually.

В общем товарищи, переведите кто-нибудь разработчикам, что если я щёлкаю на элементе меню у которого есть подменю, то вся менюха пропадает. Хотя по идее просто ничего не должно происходить.

Question: I saw there are no known issues. Does this mean that font issues should also be solved?

In Opera popup window displays this - http://files.myopera.com/Asires/screenshots/deviant_groups_bug_opera.png But must display this - http://files.myopera.com/Asires/screenshots/deviant_groups_bug_chrome.jpg
2. Middleclick on some item in popup window will break interface. Eg - http://files.myopera.com/Asires/screenshots/popups_bug.jpg

And, gentlements, is it a feature to show in popup skin information when I keep a cursor over any opera's element?

When I connect there without a flash player installed, it show me two popups: standart opera's window, which shows "Macromedia Flash player has not been found .. blah blah" and site native. Never mind on that, you've pressed, on first popup, the site freezes and does not respond any keyboard shortcuts (by the way, button "OK" or link from there could not be pressed also)
When plugins just turned off - it response normally

And there's some lag after pressing F4 until panel appears (same if toolbar button is used).
Another minor annoyance is that Opera by default is saving downloads to Documents folder, instead of Downloads.
Oh, and issue with www.dotproject.net tab icon glitches is still here.

hurriyet.com.tr is the most visited news-site in Turkey, and "webtv" constitutes its video-news sub-section. And the fact that Opera fails to play videos on the site mentioned above makes it harder for us, fellow Opera users, to convince others here to give Opera a shot as a browser. The problem is, as soon as newcomers find out that webtv.hurriyet.com.tr does not work on Opera at all, they get severely disappointed and give up on using Opera, often saying: "What kind of a browser is this, I'm going back to FF/Chrome".
As an anology, consider news.yahoo.com/video not working on Opera.
Best regards...
