HTML5-enhanced 10.60 Beta is coming!
By Haavardhaavard. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 2:15:00 PM
In the previous snapshot, we added several new features related to HTML5 and other open web standards. As many of you know, the HTML5 project started long ago here at Opera, and we are dedicated to fully supporting HTML5 and the latest in other open web standards, such as SVG and CSS. Opera 10.60 will be another step in that direction.
Now we'd like to give even more people the opportunity to test-drive the next Opera release, and like other betas, this one will be made available to a wider audience through www.opera.com. We really appreciate your help in getting this beta out there!
Note: If you are having problems with Geolocation, you can try checking it in other browsers as well. If it fails there, the problem is likely to be on the Geolocation provider's end. This feature will work best on wireless connections.

1. bug (DSK-302064) with hidden input fields over inline elements (checkboxes in gmail or radiobuttons in http://webanketa.com/forms/68t30e1f6ww62rsr6mw36/)
2. context menu of selected text starts with search-item. I don't know how under other OS, but under Windows it is very not regular... "Copy" was much better choise

But, i would like to have some standard for this, so everyone can add sugesstion for their own search engine using some API. JSON or XML based? I would also like to have customizable amount (3, 5, 8, 10, 15). of suggestions (including 0 to disable it).

Maybe this can be done using UserJS? By redefining geolocation methods?
It will be faster, and no external services will be used (as i do not like to have any my private information in hand of google).

As of selecting. After double clicking on text, one word is selected and context menu shows. Wasn't that if one will triple click then whole paragraph or line will be selected? Now it doens't work.

On the plus side, ThinkFree.com web-based word processor works like a charm with Opera, so there's one option for us.

First: Why don't they snap anymore? It makes it much more difficult to arrange two of them beside when they don't snap. It's also very difficult to place them directly on the browsers outline.
Second: in all 10.5/6 releases I've tried out, they only move very slowly and cinda "lagg" when being moved. That makes it even more difficult to arrange them. It's almost impossible to arrange two of them in a way that they perfectly cover each other.
System: Ubuntu 10.04 64bit

I cannot read the visitor's number of my site (there is a little pop up window when I put my mouse at mine site report).
And a second problem at blogger.com. When I add a banner at my blog using HTML/JavaScript I cannot increase or reduce the size of it using Rich Text.
Thanks.

Confirmed, but this is probably a site problem not a bug. Report site problems in the Opera Browser forum. Read the sticky thread on how to do that.Andrew Samandrewsam # Tuesday, June 15, 2010 4:00:39 PM
videos on apple's site are not working for me somehow. (e.g. accessing this page http://www.apple.com/iphone/design/#design-video shows the download quicktime link and image) and it's not browser sniffing too. I've tried changing and masking as other browsers as well. in fact it's not been working for me through 10.5*, all the snapshots.
But the videos play in Firefox, Chromium, Rekonq, Midori, and Epiphany. Is there something wrong with my settings. Because I'm absolutely sure i've got the required gstreamer good plugin packages, not just because the other browsers are having them. And I've got mplayer, and vlc as well.
Here is my plugin path as configured in Opera. changing the order hasn't worked for me as well
/usr/lib/opera/plugins:/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins:/home/sam/.mozilla/plugins:/usr/lib/firefox/plugins:/home/sam/.mozilla:/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins:/usr/lib/chromium-browser:/usr/lib/flashplugin-installer:/usr/share/doc/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra:/usr/local/lib/opera/plugins
When i click check for new plugins, there is nothing detected.
Is there something I'm missing? or is this some kinda bug, if so, I can report it?

I think that it is a showstopper for the beta because I am not the only one to encounter this problem.

My M2 Mail is still facing issues. The unread feeds are not highlighted in black but rather the new feeds appear as "read". Further, I am unable to empty the trash for my mail! Strange but true. I wonder whether anyone else is facing the same issue.
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx 32 bit.
Please please fix it up!

Right now it shows that I'm about 2 km far from my location.
When i was tring it from my work, the mark on the map is about 60 km far away from me.
Chromium geolocation is working good, I'm in 100 meters from mark on the map.
