Thank you!

It takes some considerable time for the cursor to 'catch up' with what I'm typing, if you know what I mean.

OS X Tiger 10.4.11.

thobi Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:28:54 PM

sometimes i still have the problem, that - if i mark an url in the rss-reader - a right click doesn't give me the "open link..." menu and i have to unmark and remark it (mostly i just start marking from the other side than).

That's not a bug. And if it was, it's definitely not important enough to post when they are asking for bugs that are actually important. Why not let people with serious bugs post instead? You don't have to repeat this one every single time a new build is posted!

You're very fast smile

I've found a bug in the installer.
Have a look at the "PLACEHOLDER" text at the top left:

Only? RCs aren't supposed to have a lot of changes.

Serious freeze (it only happens when you have the voice enabled and downloaded):

1- Click "F12"

2- Deselect "enable sound in webpages"

3- The browser freezes

I don't know if this is a know bug but its a serious one!

Off-topic comments and spam (simply repeating things you have posted for previous snapshots without considering the severity or relevance) will not be tolerated.

This is a release candidate. Keep that in mind before commenting.

I don't have a redhat account but I have seen problems on several other bugzillas (gnome and mandriva)

rynunes Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:50:18 PM

Proxy performance is still bad with the latest RC1. The usual enable http 1.1 resolves the issue...

Michal Tvrzníktvrznikmichal Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:50:57 PM

Still problem with frozen pages.
For example:
1. http://www.google.com/images?q=opera
2. click on one of finded picture
3. mouse gesture back
4. mouse gesture forward
--> bottom frame is stucked and can be activated with right mouse button

Tested on Ubuntu 10.04 64bit and OpenSuse 11.2 64bit
(On Windows 7 64bit is it OK)

LexDN Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:52:14 PM

bit annoying

Tomtomvb Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:53:30 PM

Whenever I open a panel on the left side of my screen, everything gets pushed to the right. This includes the scrollbar, nothing gets resized but just moved to the right.

Fiddler3791 Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:55:35 PM

Broken IME: cannot type any Greek stress marks (ά, έ, ί, ό, ύ) in the address and search bars.

Dzsini Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:58:50 PM

opening the preferences dialog (ctrl+f12) disables (grays out) the sidebar open/close button.
closing the dialog with Escape enables it, while clicking OK or Cancel leaves it disabled until changing tabs or scrolling (probably when some redrawing happens)

it's not a showstopper in any sense, but should be repaired sooner or later.

DSK-304266 (Show domain rather than URL in Geolocation toolbar)

Thanks, was going to report it today smile Your are reading my mind. But if possible look at my geolocation DSK's smile

DSK-304380 (Poor quality thumbnails on Linux and Mac)

Indeed it looks better. But only on 100% zoom level or better. If I have zoom level 90% there are sometimes strange aliasing effects. Linux.

qnaigonde Wednesday, June 30, 2010 2:00:51 PM

https://particuliers.societegenerale.fr/ still broken (the "accès à vos comptes" login box must be at the right top, and the password input mechanism still empty)

no problem with opera 10.5x

I can't install my personal certificate from FNMT (Spanish Certification Authority) using Opera 10.60. No problem with the current stable version 10.54. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.

joshas Wednesday, June 30, 2010 2:13:12 PM

Oh well, you can't catch them all (bugs, I mean). There's always room for improvement in 10.61. I just wanted to note, that latest RC releases are a bit smaller - have there been some optimisations done?

Opera is still running under linux has a problem with fonts.

Particularly evident in the pages tag H2, the font is bold and it looks different than in other browsers on the same system.

Opera should use the system settings, and not the xorg settings.

I found a bug on code.google.com. When you look at the code changes, especially at line code, lines are higher than they should be.

Here is what we should see:

On Linux I have an issue with Gmail. Sometimes I'm unable to click on any of the links on the page, I have to close the tab and reopen it in order to be able to navigate through it.

I've installed the lastest RC and still has the same problem. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04

Thanks

uismedia Wednesday, June 30, 2010 2:25:45 PM

The svg map on url http://www.mappetizer.de/de/beispiele/germany/index.html is still too slow. It was fast with Opera 10.5 and is fast on the other browsers but nearly not usable on Opera 10.6. That's too bad, because Opera was the best browser for SVG in the past

I can confirm that IME doesn't work even for the simplest case: the dead key for acute and grave accent in non-US keyboard layouts (e.g., no à, á, è, é, ì, í, etc.)

Edit: Ubuntu 10.04, 64-bit

Still crashing on 'new version' google docs ( DSK-303229 ) (Re-reporting, as crashes as 'serious bugs' IMO, especially on a platform such as Google Docs)
