there's a bug with Site preferences. javascript is ignored.

i browse the web with JS disabled in the browser. i use a userjs script on youtube that displays download links and have the site preferences to javascript enabled. i go to youtube and my scripts don't load. if i enable JS in the browser it loads.

last build i tested, 3476, it was working fine.

Opera stops when trying to synchronize.

It's not bug. The userJS doesn't work without enabled JavaScript. Did you add the "Extensions|Scripting=1" to your override.ini file to the site where you want to use your UserJS file(s)?

Maybe in the past the browser added automatically this, but it is not safe, because if you modify any preferences of site, the override.ini store other settings (like: Target Destination, popup settings, script raising/lowering settings, etc.), so the average user disable the JavaScript, and he/she thinks, it's safe, but doesn't remember, that he/she modified the preferences on the site x months ago and he/she blames the browser.

It's a link bug, not properly of this snapshot, but I can't use it: it synchronize with old bookmarks, notes and speed-dials and even though I changed them it still do synchronize with old ones....

i did not know about the override.ini. i opened it in notepad and my youtube settings are there and Extensions|Scripting=1. but the browser js still needs to be enabled?

correction on my earlier post. build 3476 doesn't work either. i've been using opera 9.64 and it works. so how do i get it to work in opera 10? or do i need to have the browser js enabled all the time?

The browser.js is a special userJS, that works everywhere.
Your custom userJS files just works on sites where you are enabled, except if not set differently in the userJS header @include or @exclude parameter.

I have no more idea, move or delete operaprefs.ini from your profile folder and restart Opera.

Opera doesn't change title in "hover box" of tabs.

Open for example this site: http://martin.m-core.net/aktualni-cas/

You can see that the time is changing in the tab title, but now move the mouse on the tab so the "hover box" appears and in this box the title is static.

Is it bug or not?

Hope this build has _all_ the fixes of the 10.6x branch, as opposed to the previous build...

I think this is a very good improvement now and enough for the moment... better make it work properly than adding too much at once.

It's a form of browser sniffing; i.e., there are still some sites that block Opera by doing this. Perhaps someone else can explain exactly how.

Only one of these sites is 4chan and all of them have the same icon. When I click on them, it changes. The same is happening with tabs, 4chan icons all over, but not all the time.

Custom site icons in Bookmarks are now working, these are displayed as they should beside each bookmark entry.

However, when a custom icon is shown on the URL bar, if the next site has no custom icon, the custom icon of the last site is displayed. Each time a custom icon is displayed on the URL bar, this will be displayed for a site without a custom icon.

Whatever the last custom icon was, stays there until the next site with a custom icon, at that point this new custom icon becomes the default.

Sites with no custom icon display the last custom icon and not the generic icon as they should.

This is under Linux.

Was introduced in the last snapshot and has been reported. You can fix it by setting opera:config#UserPrefs|AlternativePageCycleMode to 1

Regression from this build - Progress Bar doesn't work properly

When set to simple, it shows either a fixed value "Document 0%" or "3.4KB" etc. until eventually site loads and the progress bar disappears

When Progress Bar is set to 'pop-up at bottom' or 'show in address bar', only field that doesn't work properly or it slowly updates (displays a fixed value for more than it should, like Document 40%) is the Document status button

Because if you steal the content with adblock (which is the websites only source of income) the Opera Software won't hold them back.

Also, Mozilla didn't make Adblock. The third-party users made Adblock.

I can confirm that Existing URLs are not synchronized. Besides that the syncing worked pretty well.

My Existing URLs are synced well.
In the urlfilter.ini every url got an unique ID.

Update on this, the percentage changes when you switch to a different tab and then back to the one loading (loading field is only updated once, when that tab is made active)

Personal Bar placed on the Right gets above the close button.

Is it just my memory, or hadn't they at one time fixed the issue with the "chrome" (title bar) of tabs opened in the background overlaying the chrome of a (restored) foreground tab? If it used to be fixed, it has regressed (not in this build either, the previous build had the same issue).

Does this do the same thing as Adblock and more?

Found that your script don't synchronize with my rules, it creates your ones, but not save my and don't add them to new urlfilter.ini... Too bad, if i'm updating from fanboy.co.nz or pgl.yoyo.org/as or smth else.

Where are the ads on the site you mention? I cannot see them (and therefore cannot try to block them)

Opera Turbo is enabled, but not availabe in Private Tabs.

So does this mean Opera Turbo is working, but you can't change
the settings when in Private Tabs or what?.

Happens on Windows XP 32Bit and Windows 7 32 Bit.

What was the wisdom of that idea.... do you know?.
As for me I am on dial-up and use Opera Turbo all
the time so now when I browse in Private Mode it
will be slower.
