And thank you for your effort and wish you merry christmas.
Kinda suggestion:
----------------
Since most Chrome WebApps are only icons linking to websites, would it be possible to make some changes to Opera's dialup in order to assign any page listed as big icons instead? haha just kidding.

If you disable the content blocker for only PirateBay or globally, ads load and the userscript works and changes the favicon on every piratebay page.djagi # Saturday, December 18, 2010 6:21:03 PM

Here are some suggestions in the ongoing evolution of Opera:
1. Amazon book view does not work - please fix, if possible.
2. I use browsers with maybe a hundred or more tabs and 20 to 50 browsers concurrently open. I go between technical applications using USB, Ethernet, and Serial ports. Like an IDE programmer, it would be practical -- for me anyway -- to organize browsers by project so a set of links and even applications could open with a given project and a project management area.
3. Side tabbed user defined options that expand on demand.
4. Voice board integration so you could use browser with voice commands.
5. youtube video theme sessions.

Create one Unite service (say, FileSharing) and rename it and its address.
Create one more same service and rename it and its address.
Check the address of the second service.
I keep getting file_sharing. More over, the "renamed" address is taken.

If you want to test for HTML5, go for the real thing and cross check the results for yourself:

The Editor of the HTML5 spec writes this to the state of the testsuite(s).

I was reading one of my favourite blog on this page : http://www.bouletcorp.com/blog/index.php?date=20101218
At the top, in the menu, when the mouse goes over the characters, they make some noises/screams.
When I'm in another tab (even if it is speedial), when I put my mouse where the characters are (in a background panel), they keep make the noises/screams.
Opera : 11
OS : Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5
I also would like to tell that I really love Opera since the 9 version, and this 11 is really awesome !! Thank you so much !!

Testing on my Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit system, I find that with normal mouse gestures:
*Managing my bookmarks during cut/paste operations right click on mouse does not function when renaming files in 'Properties'view. RESULT in BOOKMARKS crashing forcing me to reopen 'MANAGE BOOKMARKS'. Reported as BUG #DSK-323149
*With opened URLs/webpages, holding down CTL key and drop/drag to SPEED DIAL from BOOKMARKS and NOTES does not work as in pre 10.51 builds. Reported as BUG #DSK-323150
*Also, typing just only the web page URL name (cnn instead of cnn.com) I get google info page for that website...very annoying, unlike pre 10.00 builds.

...and as a programmer I do understand the difficulties in reversing a major module-replacement in software. However, imo the solution is not necessarily to just abandon new and somehow reintroduce old code; a better solution is to understand the details of why behaviour is unsatisfactory and to refine the existing codebase. Let's look at some of the specifics:
1. Back (rightclick+left) and forward (leftclick+right) sometimes don't work. The reason appears to be focus related, because my current workaround involves clicking somewhere in the page before performing the gesture, which usually restores correct behaviour.
Presently Opera is suffering some lost focus issues, both with the mouse and keyboard. Even trusty old F9, the key that restored keyboard focus to the page, doesn't work when keyboard focus is lost. These issues need careful examination to restore the consistent and reliable usability Opera users have come to love. The new slide-in modeless wand/in page find/etc. boxes may have some bearing on this because as I recall a number of focus problems started when they were introduced. An additional side effect of their introduction was the loss of keyboard shortcuts to action them.
2. "Swipe" gestures of the type guided by the new UI seem to be working unpredictably in two ways:
a) getting the gesture wrong: most typically (for me) this means that the "L" (close tab) gesture results in a "down" (new page) action. Opera used to be very reliable here and I could close 5 or 6 pages in with successive quick "L" swipes.
b) not recognising the gesture at all: typically I will try "L" 2 or 3 times before giving up in frustration. Sometimes clicking on the page will restore the gesture behaviour, sometimes I need to activate another tab and come back. This problem, then, may be connected with (1) above in being somehow focus related.
c) gesture recognition change. It feels like the algorithm for detecting the gesture has changed and in the process become more "picky". For example the L gesture "just worked" in the past, but now if the right stroke is not within certain percentage of the downstroke, the gesture is either misread or ignored.
It is possible that various types of page content are interfering with the new gesture code. I haven't looked into this extensively - apart from the fact that gestures won't work over live Flash plugins (the case in Opera 10.10 as well) - but this should be looked at. My feeling is that the new gesture code's behaviour is impacted both by focus and certain aspects of the DOM tree that are under the mouse when the gesture is performed.
My reasoning for wanting the old gestures back is more down to the fact that they just work, apart from the predictable (and avoidable) situation with flash plugins. The new system doesn't just work, and the anomalies are not easy to predict or avoid, transforming gestures from something beautiful in to a real PITA. Perhaps in conjunction with refining the current gesture code the whole issue of focus (mouse and keyboard) needs a good look to restore consistent usability to Opera's UI.
Seb

It's not that the score changes randomly. It's that different things are assigned different weight seemingly randomly (one thing gives lots of points, while another gives nearly nothing). I explained that this was likely the person who made the page letting his personal preferences shine through. As such, it is not an objective measurement of even the things the page does test.Furkantheadolescent # Sunday, December 19, 2010 1:54:20 PM
