All right!

alexrage2 Monday, June 27, 2011 1:23:25 PM

Can u tell us what a few crash fixes are? RC5,The highest RC version ever?

bachokocho Monday, June 27, 2011 1:24:24 PM

Is the removed animation on reloading a speed dial among the minor fixes?

Sebastiánslalaurette Monday, June 27, 2011 1:28:14 PM

I reported a bug with tab stacking some snapshots ago, and it's still there: when you drag a tab above other tab to stack them, Opera gets it wrong and stacks the first tab with the one on the right of the one you wanted to stack it with. (Sorry for my English.) I consider this to be a serious issue, but I don't know if it should block a release. I err on the safe side and state it here.

Testing. :-)

WinVista 32 Home Basic

RC5 is dessert topping for me because I discovered no problems in using RC4 all day yesterday. Not even one crash on deviantArt or on closing, which is highly unusual since version 10.5. So far RC5 looks and feels exactly the same to me as RC4, which is a good thing.

valera23092 Monday, June 27, 2011 1:31:54 PM

rc 5 is not in the next opera in the usual opera

ClashCityRockerclashcityrocker Monday, June 27, 2011 1:33:36 PM

Deleted original RC4 comment and retested in RC5, still the same:

Nasty regression in the mail/feed notification (what used to be blue dot, but is now a Blue mail icon).

In a RSS-only setup, new RSS comes in on my nested feed view, click top level mark all as read, icon still shows blue, closing panel, re-opening, still shows blue, but it should not.

Have also seen similar in my home mail/rss/newsgroups setup.

Raised as DSK-340548

NicoHellbillyDeluxe Monday, June 27, 2011 1:33:52 PM

Still has some UI bugs ("New Tab" button jumps to the left the first time you hover it, the round sliders are not properly aligned to the center*), but that is nothing I would call a show stopper.

* For the slider button, please have a look at this:

- Speed Dials still get blurry after toggling panels (unless toggling on/off very fast)

PraetorianX Monday, June 27, 2011 1:38:41 PM

Not a critical problem, but choosing the "Wired" feed from the "Live news feed" speed-dial extension, displays a "Wrong feed URL!" message on the respective speed-dial.

Win7 x64 and Ubuntu 11.04 x32

ep01 Monday, June 27, 2011 1:45:35 PM

nice, but it still be a few bugs left in this version ..

mubaidr Monday, June 27, 2011 1:47:10 PM

cheers

helsten2 Monday, June 27, 2011 1:51:55 PM

Hmm, Norwegian internet banking still does not work for me (never worked in any of the 11.50 snapshots):
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Win7 x64

EDIT:
I tried to re-install Java (Version 6 Update 26 (build 1.6.0_26-b03)), but it did not change anything

Patkós Csabapatkoscsaba Monday, June 27, 2011 1:52:40 PM

Using space to scroll down jumps at the beginning of the page too early, before the end is reached. It also pauses for about 2-3 seconds before jumping back at the top.

Reported as: DSK-340557

alexl1984 Monday, June 27, 2011 1:53:31 PM

When opera detects a low bandwidth situation, the new turbo icon changes into text only when it should be icon only like link and unite.

Ronit Kumarronitrex Monday, June 27, 2011 1:54:05 PM

The thumbnail for speed-dial shows a white strip at the bottom. I think it has been reported many times. Is it really hard to fix this bug? whistle

Dropping the "new tab" button on Speed Dial tab crashes Opera.

Opening a new private tab does not show Start bar, though if you go to another non-private tab and return back, it will show the start bar.

Twitter "remember me" does not work.

The new Skydrive does not load the theme and is a bit sloppy compared to IE9.

Win 7 x64

Thanks for the build smile

Milan PetrovicGDragoNWS Monday, June 27, 2011 1:54:23 PM

RC5 still generates broken speed dial images when main window is resized or sidebar opened and closed. This was working before RC versions.

Random runtime crashes are still here through all RC versions.

Maybe it would help more if you would tell them which bugs you mean?

BTW: Just in case that there may be an other RC release whit UI fixes

The lines does not fit together....but, as said could maybe get fixed with an possible next rc, or a normal update of the skin ( would guess that there are still a few things which are odd )

There is a group of tabs. Next, I mixed the mouse pointer to the extreme tab. Click the right mouse button. Then mixed the mouse pointer in the browser window and click the left mouse button. The tabs at the left turn black.

mubaidr Monday, June 27, 2011 1:59:12 PM

1-Sped dial thumbnail in tab is not centred, right most column (7th in my case) is under right edge in thumbnail.

Developers, please state whether this is indeed a bug or a feature to draw attention to turbo!!!

My bug, DSK-338439, whereby the Mac version of the browser freezes within seconds of launch and remains frozen until I force quit has resurfaced with these last two builds.

I've done two clean installs, deleting out everything relating to Opera Next as instructed after an earlier build but to no avail.

d43dric Monday, June 27, 2011 2:08:50 PM

works stable, no crashes... Win7x64
after final 11.50 you schould go with 11.51 and polish all minor bugs, especially skin fixes, like white lines, not perfect aligments...
make it shine! good luck

Mod edit: Response to trolling removed.

@Dev Team: Is this an issue with the website or something from Opera ?
I have this problem on more websites also. Check the dropdown menu on this website: http://www.elcorteingles.es/

Ashus Monday, June 27, 2011 2:22:06 PM

Pinning a tab and then trying to close other non-pinned tabs with the X button in the upper right corner of the page fails. I'm switching to another tab using key shortcut, not by clicking the tab, if that matters.

If you're referring to tabs set to wrap to multiple lines, then it's a known issue. It's been broken since 11.10 (among other stacking issues). I test every build for this, and so far, it hasn't been fixed. I've resorted to using multiple windows instead of several lines of tabs, but I'd still like this to be looked at. It worked in 11.0.

Browser crashed on me when i tried to do some customising(shift f12) into moving addressfield(under buttons -> browser view) next to the opera button.

When i hoverd it basicly over the tabbar the browser closes/crashes and restarted

CaseCase1 Monday, June 27, 2011 2:35:55 PM

The panel toolbar can be set to other positions apart from "left" once again without slowing Opera to a halt...great! Thanks!

We've came from 10.50 to 11.50, months have passed, but click scroll in mail/rss body is yet to be fixed. Such a small glitch is such a big annoyance that it keeps me glued to 10.10, still. I've also registered a bug report, months ago.

Unrealmirakulix Monday, June 27, 2011 2:50:06 PM

doesn´t block flash in speeddial preview, when blocked correctly on website.

mubaidr Monday, June 27, 2011 2:53:26 PM

Please fix this:

After setting http proxy , i have to uncheck then check "Use same proxy for all protocols" to make it work.

alexl1984 Monday, June 27, 2011 2:54:38 PM

Also, I have about 20 extensions installed, not all enabled and the extension page is ULTRA SLOW.

+1 please fix this before release!

1-Too slow hover animation and buggy, lagy scroll
2-Open extension manager then restore down Opera, buttons and text are mixed down

Morpheusma5t4h Monday, June 27, 2011 3:00:05 PM

Should I download Opera Next even if I agreed to receive automatic updates?

For me this already happens with 8 tabs on OSX.

Also the myspace friends page is not displayed correctly, in the middle is a huge white space.
