My settings are:
-Version 12.00 pre-alpha
-Build 26039
-Platform Win32
-System Windows 7
Therefore I recommend not to uninstall former Opera installation before installing this release (but to upgrade it instead).

This build based on b1027, isn't it? Just because it doesn't contains the bugs of b1020, like DSK-341929

Anyway this build behaves much better than regular Opera 11.50 and 12.00 pra-alpha. It needs around a half of CPU cycles compared to O. 11.50 and around one third of memory only. Wow!

It seems with the opera next AND opera labs build some pages stall completely when loading flash and stall the browser until the flash has finished loading, but unfortunately this also happens when plugins on demand are used and flash STILL loads even when told not to... why ?

Frankly I haven't tested opera next so I don't know if it is present. I'll test opera next and edit this comment.
EDIT: Both bugs are fixed in opera next too. However the labs build is definitely faster at rendering. Hope it makes it in time for opera 12 as it feels mature.

1. Set page zoom to >100% (used 170% for screenshot)
2. Browse image gallery pages
3. Some images that are not cached and loads after page is drawn have black lines over them.
These lines are where partial image ended during loading:
1) Image not loaded, just placeholder rectangle is shown
2) First part of image loads
3) Another part of image loads, between part 1 and 2 will be black line.
4) Same continues for other segments of image during loading
When zoom is changed these lines disappear. This bug is also visible when viewing single image and it's loading and zoom is higher than 100%.
+ one more rendering issue on Twitter when scrolling, but haven't saved that one. Will do if it happens again.
This is Labs Build... so report as a bug or not?

I think the developers will want to know how this build copes with pages in the wild, that could be the main reason why they gave it to us

Problems unique to a labs build should also definitely be reported via the bug reporting sytem or on its blog post, for the very reason you stated. It's not a beta yet, or even an alpha - but as it's bleeding edge development, it's sure to have issues which are unique to its novel architecture, and the devs would love to know what those are.
That said, I haven't had the opportunity to really stretch the legs of this build, but am really impressed with its stability and compatibility so far.

The site looks different, rather than at the Opera 11.50.
A smaller font, it is inconvenient to read.
Anybody can confirm?

So, you want lager font:
Ctrl+F12, Advanced, Fonts, Minimum font size (pixels) and set it lager (like 14).
But do it, different sites are also affected.
You can "Mask as firefox" and every thing is ok.

This corruption moves together with page when scrolling, but extends to side panel so it's not just page rendering problem. When scrolling, sometimes it shows corrupted images from other tabs or current page.
