Opera 11.60 (Tunny) Beta

The Opera 11.60 (Tunny) beta is now available for download.
Tunny introduces major changes to the both the user interface and the core of the browser (Presto). In addition to numerous bug fixes and other improvements, these are some of the highlights:

Opera's built-in e-mail client has also received a major facelift:

Work on Wahoo (Opera 12) with hardware acceleration is continuing in parallel with this, and we are planning new Opera 12 snapshots next week.

Tunny introduces major changes to the both the user interface and the core of the browser (Presto). In addition to numerous bug fixes and other improvements, these are some of the highlights:
- A new HTML5 parser (Ragnarök), which improves compatibility
- A new version of our Carakan JavaScript engine with improved memory management on complex web applications
- Full ECMAScript 5.1 support
- CSS3 radial gradients
- Support for HTML5 custom scheme and content handlers
- Fixes and tweaks to the Featherweight skin, including a new Featherweight address field
- A star to the right in the address field lets you quickly add or remove pages from your bookmarks or Speed Dial. It lights up when the current page already exist as a bookmark or Speed Dial
Opera's built-in e-mail client has also received a major facelift:
- Changed the layout to work well with wide screens
- The list of mails now shows two lines: Subject and sender
- You can group messages by date, unread status or pinned status
- We cleaned up the looks, including new icons and simplified toolbars
- A new overlay dialog for settings lets you easily change the layout and other things
- "Pin" messages with a single click for attention
- Faster mail fetching thanks to QRESYNC support and several backend optimizations

if you found a string you've been searching for, you won't be able to click on it and edit, because the scrollbar moves to the top and scrolls all the text to the beginning.

Баг с скроллбаром области текста при поиске через Ctrl+F:
если вы нашли строку, которую искали, вы не сможете кликнуть по ней и продолжить её редактирование, потому что скролл ползёт вверх и прокручивает содержимое текстовой области в самое начало.
Приходится запоминать положение строки и скроллить вручную >.< Ужасно неудобно.

1. press PrintScreen
2. go to Mail Composer and paste the picture
against
1. press PrintScreen
2. open MS Paint
3. paste picture
4. save as file
5. go to Mail Composer
6. click Insert Image
7. find the picture file and insert it into mail
8. delete the file

also the installer hosed one of my windows xp sp3 systems. It caused slow Windows boot times. The only fix was install an older image. That one is Athlon XP 2600+, 3 GB RAM, XP SP3

One problem I found is that if you click the new "Expand" button, and then close the side panel, the message doesn't resize, so it stays there with free space on the right (you can see the shadow and gray wallpaper you don't normally see in "expanded" view).
