Wahoo returns

,

We promised you more Opera Next 12.00 builds after the 11.60 Beta, so now is about the right time fulfil that promise. These are the Opera 12.00 equivalents of the 11.60-1150 builds we gave you last Friday. They contain all of the fixes listed in the previous 11.60 change logs, plus the all new mail design, and of course hardware acceleration and theme support. wink

Remember, when commenting on bugs or issues that it helps greatly if you can tell us your Operating System (including version), graphics card (make/model), and what video drivers you are using (including version). If you are unsure about the latter part opera:gpu can assist you. A quick comparison with the last 11.60 build will also help you to distinguish if this is a hardware acceleration issue or a more general problem.

P.S. It is fine to give us feedback on the most recent 11.60 builds below as well, so long as you mention that you are using 11.60 (or Tunny) in your comment.

WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

BUG from 11.6 now here.
go to the cpanel(if you have one of course), then to the filemanager, edit any longer text file(example php files). Try to search for something, then when it highlights keyword, click mouse on page, and it scrolls back to the top of the page.
Server linux, apache version 2.2.21, cpanel 11.30.4.

If it says blocked, does that mean HWA is disabled? Disregard that. Sadly, I just read my system is intentionally blocked and may not be supported any more.

Ctrl+T → Ctrl+Space (Home) = 2 tabs (speeddial & homepage)
Ctrl+T → Alt+Home (Home) = 1 tab (homepage only) ← It's correct

PS: "Use current tab" is enabled.

And why aliasing is broken on CSS3 transformations & border-radius when hardware acceleration is enabled?

Hmm, back to calling them Skins again (rather than Themes in the last 12 snaphot)

Intentional?

Win7 x64
I forgot to mention I'm using tab thumbnails on the right.

And minimize, restore, close buttons are over trash can button. This doesn't happen with a native or standard skin but it happens with the new themes:

Write any text in google Translate in any language and translate.
Page settings set "Fit to width".
Move your mouse over translated text / word.
And we admire a bug.

Вбиваем любой текст в google Translate на любом языке и переводим .
В настройках страницы ставим "Подогнать по ширине".
Наводим мышку на переведенный текст/слово.
И любуемся прекраснейшим багом.

12.00 lasts build.
в нескольких последних 12,00.

PS: Sorry for bad English. My native language is Russian. However, "google translate" translation from Russian into English is worse than I did.

ЗЫ: Извините за убогий английский. Мой родной язык русский . Однако translate google переводит с русского на английский хуже чем я сам парадокс однако .

I confirm. Same OS. This applies also when using themes. The bin can icon overlaps the X button. And when using any of the themes, you cannot drag and move Opera at all.

After changing skin to 12.0, opera window shown whithout 3 buttons in upper right corner. Than, if we close opera and start it again with new 12.0 skin, the 3 buttons now exists but opera window now covers the windows taskbar if it situated up on the screen. Then if we do minimize and then maximize opera windows, windows taskbar now showing but not sharp with opera window:

The last couple builds have been slow, so I've been sticking with 1090. I tried this one, and it's slow, and I imagine this is why:

Vega backend: Software
OpenGL Blocklist version 1

Reason for 2D status: No support for old legacy drivers

Can't be used for IE 9 because IE 9 can't be used on Windows XP

QuHno Tuesday, November 15, 2011 1:52:22 PM

This build seems to like feeds better than the last 11.60 build (several 11.60 crashlogs sent) - at least it doesn't crash if I close it directly after reading up

edit: but after closing the last tab if it contains a feed and then closing Opera... awww

Still not detecting maximised size properly; the first time Wahoo's opened it covers the taskbar at the bottom, and requires hitting F11 to fullscreen it and back again before it sits at the right size.

Gmail still causing excessive CPU load with HWA on. General performance isn't so good either. That's the biggest gripe I have with Wahoo builds.

System: WinXP, HD3870, Catalyst 11.9;

- Fullscreen mode looks kinda awful - a title bar appears on the top.

- Scrolling on some sites with much content is still laggy, less than on previous snap-shot, but still unpleasantly.

+ Sometimes feels almost as fast as Google Chrome, yet still often tends to move elements of the website after it is displayed, which makes it slower again - because site is not ready to use until everything is settled and stands still.

The strings database is not branched between 11.60 and 12.00, as not to cause too much headaches for the localization team smile So this will likely stay this way until we have a 11.60 release.

I doubt that this matters one way or another (which shows the sillyness of these UA strings...)

MossMan Tuesday, November 15, 2011 2:26:16 PM

I was just reminded of (yet) another issue in the new mail UI (so this also applies to 11.60):

When I click "fit to width", it also removes all empty lines! So a nicely-formatted mail with breathing-space between sections of text becomes one big ugly clump of characters...

tomasb Tuesday, November 15, 2011 2:26:48 PM

FYI (regression):

Ipv6 addresses doesn't work due to incorrect address parsing
ex.: https://[::1]/

"""
The URL https://[::1]/ contains characters that are not valid in the location they are found.
"""

EDIT:
Also alt is incorrectly escaped
