+1

Same for "Go to Web Address" should open in a new tab too !knight

http://my.opera.com/community/forums/findpost.pl?id=4945491]No.[/URL] (a topic where I mess things up conclude the best thing is to have it opening in the current tab and using the modifier keys [Ctrl and Shift] to decide if you want it to open in a new tab on the background and foreground respectively). You can untick "Reuse current tab" to get the behavior you want as default though, and I didn't have the knowledge on the time of the topic but you can also edit the .ini file to get this without affecting other actions.

Some of us like it, and the others do not. So, I think it should be configurable. Not by editing .ini files of course smile

LOL. Just leave it as "Other problem" "Not sure/Other" write "Georgian translation errors" on the Summary, write the errors on the steps text field, What do you expect to happen? "Fix", What actually happens? "Errors on Georgian translation strings".

It happens when Opera is started with memguard, many tabs are open at startup ans some background tabs load slow. Hovering over one of these background tab to see the preview almost instantly crashes Opera here.

If you are fast enough it even works with only two tabs.

Some minutes ago I send 15 to 17 crashlogs in a row with descriptions what I did.

Thanks, I've reproduced it and reported it and sent the bug to Core.

Nice reproduction steps!

PraetorianX Friday, November 18, 2011 7:46:29 AM

So, another bug: Youtube videos sometimes are stuck and overlay themselves on every tab, and at the same time mess up any text while scrolling.

example: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/6/operabug2.jpg/

I think this has been reported a few builds back, but it is very annoying when it happens. It only goes away if you close Opera AND terminate it from the Process Manager (otherwise Opera won't start again for me).

It seems to happen randomly, so I can't provide steps to reproduce.

tykx Friday, November 18, 2011 8:47:02 AM

Hi, could you improve the Hebrew support in Opera 11.60, including translating the browser to Hebrew?
I like Opera, but I have issues with writing in Hebrew and visiting Hebrew sites. It will also help you get a bigger market share in Israel.
Thank You and keep those updates coming!.

I still can't add wildcarded domains to proxy exception list.
I think someone already submitted a bug about this, but to make sure I made my own: DSK-350740

Same issue happened since version 12.00 alpha build 1155
And I found out since the snapshot of v12, the opera used up a lot of ram (at least 200m+ and sometimes it can reach 300 - 400m, quite scary no ) May be the opera team should OPTIMIZE the ram usage. I also found out opera is bit slower idea in term of browsing speed (as compared to chrome 17 down) By the way, no worries, im still an opera hardcore fan. yes Hope to see real fixes on the coming release. cheers

System: i5, Win 7 Pro x64, 4GB ram
感言:游览那么多次OperaDesktopTeam的部落格,这也是我第一次看到中文eh。不错,加油哦!

Please fix RSS/email viewer. Subject font is still extremely large, scrolling is working incorrectly in the preview panel etc.

Opera has very high CPU usage on https://www.facebook.com/
Also scrolling is very slow on https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#inbox

DSK-347689 (corrupted CSS gradients) still exists. This bug is not mine; it was reported by some other person - but I confirmed it.

Rafal from Opera team has already confirmed the bug, so I shouldn't need to give steps to reproduce the bug.

xhpohanka Friday, November 18, 2011 11:16:15 AM

There is still the same problem on http://www.novinky.cz
The page loading is stopped on Elements: 199/199 and it does not react on any mouse or keyboard actions - interesting thing is that these actions are "buffered" and performed after clicking the cancel button (eg. rolling a mouse wheel).

Similar problem is on the www.diit.cz - sometimes only a part of the page is loaded (but mouse works).

Tried on cleanly installed Opera on Win7 x64 and Ubuntu 11.10 32bit.

This bug or inconvenient behavior still exists:
1. Open any youtube video (wait a few seconds to load the flash video)
2. close the current tab
3. Briefly, you will see the flash video in the other/next tab

4shared player not working

magnitafon Friday, November 18, 2011 2:06:41 PM

Maybe it was reported already, but anyway...
Scrolling artifacts when Show tooltips is on and Smooth scrolling is off.
Not present in 11.52, present both in the last snapshots of 11.60 and 12.00.
Found with vBulletin Board, so it can be tested on their demo page. To reproduce:
1. Leave Show tooltips on (default value) but turn Smooth scrolling off.
2. Go to https://www.vbulletin.com/admindemo.php
3. Create Demo, go to Forum, enter "Main Forum"
4. Restore Opera's window if maximized, then resize its height to be able to scroll the page.
5. Hover the title of the thread "Welcome to the vBulletin Demo!"
6. While tooltip is shown, scroll the page down with a single press of cursor key.
7. You should see some garbage in place of tooltip.
P.S. WinXP

P.P.S. Icons in dropdown in "Go to page" dialog look too tiny. Work in progress?

Stefan Comanescufaqfaqfaq Friday, November 18, 2011 2:10:21 PM

It still crashes and freezes on Gnome 3.2 (Opensuse 12.1), just like the 11.52 version. I'm glad it looks well on GTK3 though.

Since this update, M2 does not mark new unseen incoming mail in blue on my machine.

I read all mail that come in, but only mark it "read" when it is DEALT WITH. I'm losing time having to carefully read each line of the mail list to tell if I've already looked at it or not.

ayespy Friday, November 18, 2011 7:53:47 PM

IMPORTANT REGRESSION - M2's "not-spam" button/function is missing in this build. While in "spam" view, I clicked on the only apparently-correct button to convert the message to "not spam" (button was marked blue and labeled "spam" so I figured it must be a toggle), and instead of being converted, the email was deleted forever and there is now no way for me to retrieve it and find out the sender's email address so I can reply to them. It was a brand-new business contact, and now I have lost them. That sux.

Searched the buttons customization dialogue for a "not spam" button, and there is none.

Edit: My mistake. It DID convert it to "not spam," but it just showed up under the wrong day. Since this build does not mark unseen mails in blue, I had a hard time finding it. HOWEVER, that button should still be marked "not spam" if you are in spam view or have highlighted a spam email.
