Another Ragnarök update for Tunny

,

Here's another Tunny (11.60) snapshot with mainly Core updates.

We still want to know about NSL issues, and regressions from 11.5x are of particular interest.

Note: When reporting a problem, please indicate whether it is a regression from 11.5x or not.

WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Still no favicons in address field dropdown. :-/
KDE styling issues remains (menu popus, menubar, dialogs, tabbar).
Message zoom not preserved, new emails (Google IMAP) not blue (but feed messages works fine) in M2.

* Translation string updates also included in this update..

Bug:
Having trouble with opening dialog-windows in Wordspress (admin) v3.21 in the latest snapshots.

Have not seen any NSL pages so far smile

There are still random count for non-existing messages in Unread/Received :(

ClashCityRockerclashcityrocker Tuesday, November 29, 2011 1:39:47 PM

It's a shame that 12 and 11.60 aren't updated in sync, as it would mean more people testing core fixes...

I have a mix of 12 and 11.60 installs on different PC's at home and work... Some are more appropriate to test 12 right now, others 11.60.

SaperR Tuesday, November 29, 2011 1:48:29 PM

Again...

1.
Icon is not centered.

2. When i open image from my computer in Opera, and go to another location on my computer (eg ) favicon does not change.

3.
4.
Balloon is not centered

I think Opera should decide which branch is a developer version: 11.60 or 12?

SteveKong Tuesday, November 29, 2011 2:07:44 PM

[Mac OS X 10.6.8] Certificate issue: Opera still does not remember an accepted certificate. E.g. IMAP on mail.informatik.uni-leipzig.de:993 - TSL. As far as I remember, this has been introduced in the 11.x builds.

[Mac OS X 10.6.8] Crash on launching widgets that have been installed in a previous stable version after update. Re-installing seems to solve the problem but this seem hardly intended.

regression #1
put your mouse here

scroll up you get 110% 120%
then scroll down you get 109% 99%

regression #2
gesture won't work if it didn't start within the text selection
I mean "gesture RIGHT" in that thread

I guess an official 11.6 is coming soon, so please at least fix the second one.

This is really really annoying.. i'm forced to use another browser after years of Opera cause Gmail slowness...
At the first snapshots i saw people reporting this problem but now no more.
I'm the only one with a slow Gmail when used with 500+ contacts in the address book?

Can anyone confirm that changes to Email/Feeds aren't being saved after closing opera?

Example: Uncheck a feed or an email folder so that they won't be shown.

For me, Linux Mint 9 /1177 + 1173, these changes aren't being saved.

I think everyone else who uses Gmail still sees slowness, they (including me) have probably just become complacent with it. If the final release build still has the issue though, I might pause before using Opera.

It's sadly true that Google ignores Opera (well, they have now own browser to promote) but also I don't see big sense in using web based mail box interfaces. ;-)

Deathamns Tuesday, November 29, 2011 3:45:55 PM

This image seems NSL for me. In the address bar the status says "Elements: 2/2", but never disappears. However, the image fully loads. Here's the PHP code that generates it (maybe the missing Content-length header causes the problem):
<?php
header('Content-Type: image/png');
header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="test.png"');
readfile('./imagus64.png');

nimu_channimuchan Tuesday, November 29, 2011 3:56:36 PM

4chan does not refresh google captcha on site refresh/opening thread.
I tested on 2 PCs with current and previous build opera install.

Can someone confirm this?

/Edit

I just found out that it only happens if you have at least two tabs with 4chan open. Meaning that tabs are somehow linked and share resources they should not.

Hugo Del Castillohcastill Tuesday, November 29, 2011 3:57:46 PM

It may be too late to address this issues as you are probably getting ready for a release, but I have two issues with the new M2 improvements.

1) The Delete Button moves while changing from a message or a feed, since I have combined both in my mail view I keep pressing the wrong button to attempt to delete the messages. I know I can fix it by customizing the bar, but I am just saying is very functional.

2) When reading your email and going from one day to another on the labels, them mail stops on the label and tells me that there is no mail to display. It should just move to the previous day´s mail. It should skip the label.

it has if u have an android phone and u have all in sync with gmail, address book, documents etc.. i have to login there and it's all as i want in any pc/phone. Don't need to have a third party software for the mail and still have to login for all the other features wink Apart of that i want to be free to choose what to use, i want to use Opera as browser but still use the google services. If this slowness (and it's only with opera browser no other browser have this problem) it's a google fault well.. let me know and i'll stop report it smile

If i can't comment via social plugin because the send button never stops refreshing, does it mean it is a NSL issue?

Crabman Tuesday, November 29, 2011 4:14:50 PM

Right now I have a Flash-Ad from another site painted over every tab including repaint errors... http://h3.abload.de/img/capture56eig.jpg I guess it's a known bug but it got even worse with one of the latest snapshots. Happens all the time now.

berend ytsmaytsmabeer Tuesday, November 29, 2011 4:15:52 PM

Posting bugs here doesn't getv them fixed, only confirmed.
You still have to report them, otherwise they aren't going to get fixed.

Just report them!
(don't forget to read trough these post of course to see if some one similar is there)

Anyone else seeing table higlighting problems in Google Docs spreadsheets.

The cell highlight is offset from the actual cell. VERY annoying to use...

Damian SkoczylasSCRAMsequence Tuesday, November 29, 2011 4:27:04 PM

Obviously the issues that I reported previously (in the comments to the Saturday Snapshot post) haven't been fixed. What a surprise!mad

Another catch:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14908346/24tethrh.jpg -

The counter next to "Received" indicates 6, although I have no new unread messages. It erroneously indicates the number of new feeds.

However, even after marking all feeds as read, the counter still indicates 6:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14908346/6h4ik7h7.jpg -

Whether it's a regression, I'm not sure, but it probably is.

To fix this you have to right-click "Received" and select "Mark All As Read".

Win Vista, Opera 11.60.1177

xhpohanka Tuesday, November 29, 2011 4:45:36 PM

It is not a regression from 11.5 but from some much older version.
I'm used to use altered interface with panels on the right side . Unfortunately the page width is not shrinked sometimes when panels are visible and they overlaps the page content then.

Please fix DSK-347689 (corrupted CSS gradients).

Steps to re-produce the bug-

Steps -

1. Go to http://vesna.in.ua/minesweeper/.
2. Select the 'Normal' mode in the game modes.
3. Open Opera Dragonfly > Console and type GAME.map.win();
4. The score appears. Notice the corrupt CSS gradients on the bottom right edge.

Got the same "Jumping Bar" problem i reported for 12.00:

I placed a Button next to the Opera-Menu-Button. On focusing the button, the whole bar jumps down a few pixel.
