Hello everyone!

We are preparing another maintenance release for 11.6x ‘Tunny’ with some stability fixes. This is a normal Opera release, not Opera Next. All of the below fixes are already in the current Opera Next release.

No, there are no problems. Well actually yes, of course there are problems, but Opera doesn't want to release it just to bring it out. They'll release it when they think it's good and it works. There is no point in throwing a build out there of which you know it will not work. This is wasting development resources and precious time.
General life info for everyone: Don't whine for snapshots and let them do their work. For one, whining won't make them release any snapshots and secondly, the developers can test software in-house too. Only when there are no obvious problems does it need testing by a lot of people.
Don't whine. You'll get it when it's done.

One good thing about 11.6x maintenance builds is that some of the most basic bugs keep to be fixed.
This time, the 12.00 version will not have any regression (if you do not consider HA).
The last weak points of Opera 11.6x are some bugs with the mail section, scrolling issues and some skin bugs.
Fortunately, they should be fixed in Opera 12.0x (at least the two first points).

Any idea if this bug with get fixed in 11.62?

"CORE-44002 Improved performance of parallel downloads of script and images" has me curious. Can you tell how and in what scenarios this will be noticeable?
Let me add some positive speculation to the above. May be they are working on something big like Direct X implementation of HWA. Which is more than likely a big task given the big amount of graphics hardware and drivers out there.
But then again anybody else's guess is as good as mine....

Glad to see it though as I can't even get the last 2 Wahoo builds to start . So you won't hear any whining from me for more of them.
