I agree with Eric Blade.

Win7 64bit; Opera 64bit

ExtendTube (opera crashes in x86 build) and HyperTranslate (just nothing happens) doesn't work with this build

Also, can't install any addons in x64 build (clean install). http://addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/ will never load. Loads perfectly fast in x86 build and in any other browser.

Edit. Tryed to restart browser, but Opera crashed. After restart, addons.opera.com loaded.

Another unusable snapshot for me (64 bit).

Imports mail fine, halfway through checking mail for the first time it freezes and then crashes, and then crashes on every single re-start.

Cant submit crash logs as it crashes before they are submitted.

Unbfortunately I had to go back to build 1351 after too many freezes (Windows XP, 32 bit, no HWA, Asus EEEPC). In addition there have been some new rendering artifacts like horizontal lines in the middle of the page.

Opera x64 loads flash x32 (activeX version?) and flash x64, why?
How does Opera select which version to use?

AFAICS first come, first use.

I disabled the 32bit plugin in opera:plugins and didn't run into problems so far.

I have not been able to play Youtube videos in my emails in Gmail. This happens even in 11.62. Win 7 64...Other Browsers work.

Same here! scared When that happens I must restart Opera to fix it. I even get an error when I close it. Win7 x64, 32-bit Opera.

It happened also to me, once on gmail.com via SSL. It redirected to https://mail.google.com/... and Opera displayed an error saying Could not end secure connection, please check if the entered address is correct. The first time it happened to me is with this snapshot.
Knoppix 6.2.1 32-bit.

Using x64? I don't see a 32-bit plugin entry at opera:plugins.

Yes, win7x64, Opera 12 x64 (clean profile install) and Flash x64. Flash x32 is installed because the other browsers and Opera 11.62 use it and my 12 install detected it, as you can see in this Screenshot (I deactivated the 32bit version)

Do you have any plans on implementing more security oriented features, such as?...

X-Content-Type-Options

Block reflected XSS

Sandbox attribute

Origin header

Content Security Policy

Block visited link sniffing

The Windows x64 version freezes if i use the browsergame at http://alliances.commandandconquer.com

If i turn on or off HWA and/or WebGL doesn't matter.

SBoulianne Saturday, April 7, 2012 1:12:48 AM

ALOT of freeze with the x64 version. I downgraded to the x86 and it works fine now... I hope it will be fix soon.

It might be an x64 problem. It works on Win 7 x86 SP1. What Windows version are you on? Does the problem reproduce with clean separate installation?

My x86 version has been horrible...It crashes and freezes often..Mostly with Flash. Everything is up-to-date..It's been so bad that I've been using Firefox to view video's..
Opera snapshots have generally been good for me..Except this one..Hope it's fixed soon..

It appears like image settings inheritance is broken when you open a link in new tab by pressing mouse wheel.

1. Settings -> Preferences -> Webpages
set [Images] dropdown to [Show images]
2. Open a new tab
3. Load a page
4. Select [No images] as view mode for the tab
5. Click mouse wheel on a link
Expected: new bg tab with [No images]
Actual: new bg tab with [Show images]
Opening the same link using context menu works as expected (No images)

Windows 7 x86

dont erase the history of visited websites.

furue Saturday, April 7, 2012 11:11:41 AM

This build feels very sluggish all around, although I don't have any objective measure.

The Youtube website is particularly painful to use. Webpages often freeze until they are fully loaded.

Mac OS 10.6.8, Intel Core 2 Duo, RadeonHD2600, HWA enabled.

Obese MauriceObeseMaurice Saturday, April 7, 2012 11:35:36 AM

OK, what the ...??? Opera crashed and now I can't open it again. I get this error:

What should I do? scared

Win7 x64, 32-bit Opera.

Old-Nick Saturday, April 7, 2012 11:47:58 AM

This build is more usable comparing with last two, but to post this message I was forced to launch FF.

* I can't type within input elements including on the web and Opera UI search + address bar
* Can't change page zoom and it doesn't matter whether I'm using + or drag zoom slider
* I can't use shortcut ctrl+ enter for saved passwords
* Webpage is not responding to Space press or up|down arrows use

Note: this is not a permanent Opera behavior but takes minutes. This is not a freeze as I can use scroll, close tab and open new website(which address I've typed earlier and can chose it from dropdown list of previously typed URL )

WinXP SP3, 1Gb of RAM, dual core

Confirm on 10.8 DP2 - often Opera freezes completely or even crashes the whole dock or freezes the whole system! Especially when Firefox is running at the same time both get very unresponsive - didn't occur with earlier builds.

With Opera 12.00 Build 1359, the tab-settings for presentation mode (author mode, user mode) and show images/only cached images are reset to default with each new tab opened from a tab (mouse middle click on a link).

Before Build 1359, a new tab got the same settings as the tab from where the new tab was opened.

Dragging bug (links opened in new window after very small mouse movements) still here.
Also high GPU usage when scrolling with HW Acceleration on - still here.

Win7 x64, Opera x64, nVidia GeForce GT240 with latest drivers.

yep that dragging issue is the main one, but found another issue. Messes up the video driver somewhere because Gom Player won't run right when Opera 64bit is running. Bottom of the bar has a video freeze and can't get to the controls. Seems to happen on anything using video like pictures. the bottom section where I have my windows tray bar plays havaoc. Rarely check the alpha of late but huffingtonposts facebook share popup crashes everytime. So checked this one out and still the same problem. Not just this computer either...

Like me it doesn't seem to like time line, 10.x didn't either, okay general mistakes. Click a javascript item and it will launch a replicated window/tab and not what you wanted.

Try cleaning cache manually, deleting the autosave.win from the Sessions folder, deleting cookies.dat or deleting or renaming operaprefs.ini when Opera is not running. The latter will let Opera start with factory settings and you will have to set your Preferences again.

Make a loop in JS, for example to move a progress bar, makes the Opera lock until the end of the loop.
