What about 11.64?
A secret?

This is the most unstable Opera beta I've seen so far (I use Opera since year 2000) sad

It crashes even just without any interaction, just by having it in the background with only a speed dial tab and an addons.opera.com tab open...

If you try and log in to some Google pages, you immediately get an error page no matter how hard you try, probably Google playing around (Still there's always Duck Duck Go) and on occasions saving bookmarks to an HTML file which I do to swap between browsers only saves some.
Also as earlier the odd one where bits of maps tear off to open a new tab, which you can do add nauseum with the hew tab also.
Love the beta though,thank you

As an addendum to my quick note above, if I go to most Google services from my iGoogle page I'm already logged in as I am on my home page, on the You Tube page I need to log in.
Going to log in from this route is fine, but going to log in from a video page or after a search is where the problem seems to lay.
(Just a quick thought that on my iGoogle page I have Twitter Gadget, if I need to log in there I get a flash of the picture on my speed dial background or theme-any help in solving bugs?
Themes are better than Chrome's too, though want more please but whole browsers always been better than Chrome)

When you have a bookmark added the yellow star shows up to show that you have already bookmarked it, but doesn't say where, ie in a folder or bookmarks bar etc which would be a great help.
Still blows Chrome & IE out of the water tho.

Hi, you may find this funny, but I just tried Opera Next 12 beta, and I had weird rendering issues with HW acceleration DISABLED !
And by enabling the HW acceleration in the opera:config page, it becomes correct !

The problem I had is just after first launching of Opera Next, and after having changed to "Show Menu bar". The menu bar contained garbage (like parts of images of other windows / task bar / XP window border drag, or like sudden flashes of "broken screen input" random pixel areas), and the tab bar were badly drawn (steps of animations on new tab / close tab were still visible after the animation, overlapped).

I have set HW acceleration config was at 0, I have set it to 1, restarted, and now everything is drawn correctly (except that menu bar is black / very dark, but I guess this is an issue of the theme).

I have retried with HW accelaration config at 0 and the rendering problems reappeared.

Conclusion : HW acceleration is working fine up , it's default drawing system that is completely broken ! doh
Apparently this is only buggy for opera UI, not for webpage content. And this is apparently only visible when enabling Menu Bar.

Win XP SP3 / 'GeForce 7100 GS/PCIe/SSE2/3DNOW!'.

If I open 17 tabs, I don't see any captions on them at all, just ellipsis: http://pic.pusher.kiev.ua/20120512-5o9-50kb.jpg
This is too unusable.

In Opera 11.64, I can see 3 letters on each of 17 tabs: http://pic.pusher.kiev.ua/20120512-k68-57kb.jpg
Even if I open 22 tabs, I am still able to see one letter on each tab:

The skin is the same, default skin. My resolution is 1024x600.

Please return the previous behaviour.

The browser sticks when I try to input Chinese in Google documents. I saw this a few times. It doesn't happen in stable releases.

I installed it as a portable copy (in single folder) but can't locate a 'profile' folder to place my custom urlfilter.ini file. Any ideas?

(Windows 7 Ultimate)

The profile folder should be in the Opera installation folder in case of standalone installation. (i.e. if your installation folder is C:\Opera, then it should be in C:\Opera\profile)

I looked up in the Uninstall Programs under Control Panel and saw Opera 12 - meaning I may have accidentally installed it for 'current user' rather than 'stand-alone installation' and my profile folder, therefore would have been dumped in AppData. Did a reinstall (the latest 1413 build) as 'stand-alone' and found the profile folder. Thanks!
