The focus of today's snapshot is to fix up some of the bugs introduced HTML5 Drag and Drop, plus fixes to a few more annoying bugs for good measure. bigsmile

Known issues
  • People without at least an SSE2 CPU will see painting issues (black in the user interface)
  • Plugins not working on Windows 2000

bug Please fix the Proxy preference bug, After changing proxy, i have to un-check and then check "Use proxy for all protocols" to update proxy
settings for other protocols (otherwise only HTTP protocol uses new stting) sad

bug Notifications for blocked pop-ups are not shown, is this known bug? Can nay body confirm ?

Too bad this build still takes a lot of CPU all the time (reported as DSK-364940). There are two threads I can see in Process Explorer constantly having ~100K context switches per second and taking ~40% of CPU.

Then there is still "status bar in the middle of screen" bug..

Drag and Drop Bug:
bug
How: Drag a tab stack to create new window.
Expected: All tabs from current stack will move to newly created window.
What happens: Only top tab from tab stack will create a new winodow, Other tabs stay in same window.

Please revert back "DSK-361614 Don't zoom Speed Dial items beyond 100% when in Auto mode", or at least gives us the option to zoom speed dial at detail of 1% not 10%.
Bug: current tab loses focus for a second when closing background tabs by pressing x. When pressing x button, background tab should not be focused. Reported 8 times, please say if you will fix the two bugs or not so i can stop reporting them! Thank you

update: opera is not freezing anymore if Ghostery extension is disabled

This build still ignores custom mouse buttons settings in Logitech SetPoint.
I'm using Windows 7 SP1 x64 and SetPoint 6.32 and MX518 mouse. In all other applications and Opera 11.64 it works fine. Only Opera 12 beta ignores it. For example I have copy/paste on side mouse buttons predefined and Opera 12 does some close tab action instead of copying/pasting text. This makes Opera 12 totally unusable for me. Please fix it Opera team.

I've found two issues with this build(and previous builds).

1. [html5dnd] Cannot drag text into notepad or images onto desktop and vice versa.
2. Italic text sometimes occurs with too extreme of an angle with HWA enabled.

There are also obvious skin issues which I assume the graphics team will get to eventually.

I also miss the having trash can for the closed tabs list as the arrow is pretty ugly. But that's personal preference and can be fixed easily with a theme.

Would these bugs get fixed before final release ?

DSK-362047 is important for me because its kind of rendering issue for RTL users and annoys us.

When I want to drag a local HTML file from Total Commander/Windows Explorer to Opera Pagebar (to open as a new tab) it doesn't work. The indicator appears between the tabs but nothing happens after drop.

It's much better but I get an error with the taskbar. It says that it won't install to the taskbar ignore or close and also it has an auto update error of either -5 or 5. Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit.

Confirmed on Win 7 SP1 x86. It takes forever to load and is almost completely unrepsonsive.

Tab thumbnails on tab stacks after thumbnails for tabs has been disabled. For single tabs the thumbnails are removed as specified. I imagine this has been reported though.
