Is PANGEA-282 still present?

Otto WasserfeldtmyOnno Tuesday, June 12, 2012 12:49:27 PM

This bug is still present: "After scrolling in opera with my touchpad (Synaptics, Acer Aspire 7738G) the mouse cursor is changing to "Busy" and stays at this cursor. It only happens when I scroll for a long time. Then i have to move the mouse pointer to get the normal cursor. "

"CORE-46867 Insertion marker does not disappear when dragging items through the tab bar"

Saw this the other day, spent ages trying to recreate how I did it.... Now I know.... :-)

@Haavard: Are the know issues from last build, see below, already fixed? If not, will they be fixed in final?

If there's nothing about them in the changelog, all known issues of preceding snapshots apply to current ones as well wink

Does this site work in Opera 11.6x?

alekksander Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:03:02 PM

so "People without at least an SSE2 CPU will see painting issues (black in the user interface)" will remain in final? i'm experiencing this known issue, but i have cpu that support SSE2 (atom n270). also i'm expeencing more incorrect page loads with O12, comparing to 11.64 - refresh helps here.

Joel Spadinspadija Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:03:36 PM

Opera now seems to send a click event when you use Alt + Ctrl + Click to save images. For instance, when you use Image Autosizer and Alt + Ctrl + Click, the image mode toggles.

Christophchristoph142 Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:06:05 PM

EDIT: DSK-365195 still unfixed

Is it going to be fixed in final? IMHO showing a hover-effect on a link is a pretty basic browser functionality! I developed the site in and with Opera and it is 100% valid CSS which used to work until build 1440...

Opera RC will install over your stable installation of Opera 11.64, Opera Next will install over your installation of Opera Next (the snapshots), if you have it.

EDIT: ye gods, why do i keep getting those blasted "connection closed by remote server" errors? The server monkeys need a whipping i think.

CryioAcryion Tuesday, June 12, 2012 1:13:56 PM

On Sputnikmusic.com, every news and comment is put in the middle of the comment section or news or review paragraph (It isn't aligned to the left border)

Something like this: http://sputnikmusic.com/review/49859/El-P-Cancer-4-Cure/

I mean, Opera never had Sputnikmusic render correctly compared to the other major browsers, but now is just plain awful.

A regression from 11.6x. Even from v12 RC1 actually.

Are there any OOPP fixes in the pipeline?
It's still unusable for me (WinXP SP3) because of estimated 60 crashes a day (feels like 600 ;-( ).

Hi there.

Great work so far .)
Just one thing: Programmed mouse buttons (Logitech SetPoint software) still revert back to standard behavior sad

Umm..so there's absolutely no difference in functionality between them, just besides that they can be used seperately. Am I correct?

Do you report your crashes? If so, do you provide email address? That way it could be easy for us to find them.

Fixes that are not considered important for this release (or safe for inclusion) will go into a future version.

It's interesting - how do you judge what's important and what's not? I'm just really curious. In this line of thought, DSK-365575 is still here (described in this topic). Will we ever see a release with most of the 'secondary' bugs fixed and not left for a later minor version? For several major versions already it's more like what you call 'final' is actually more like a late beta. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, it's just my thoughts on what's going on.

For me it does eventually finish loading, it just taktes a really long time for some of the connections to be made. Not sure Opera or the site is to blame here.

Maybe you are referring that IE9 and IE10 are rendering the main page of hhtp://sputnikmusic.com the same as Opera (any version). But the news/reviews section has the text alignment broken.

Can we agree on that?

Unconfirmed. Stuck @ 42/44 for some time but finished loading after about 75 seconds. Might be a server overload

Constant high CPU usage when having any downloads (running or stopped) (DSK-364940) - FIXED! Great up cheers

but

"Status bar moved together with screen when scrolling" (DSK-365871) - I have submitted this, together with screenshot and detailed description of an issue

and

"Follower tab" appears blank (DSK-365690)

... still present in this version. DSK-365871 is very annoying as it happens on all pages that load longer, so please look into it.

Acid3 got broken when I changed these settings on clean USB installation. It works fine before changing these settings.

To reproduce:
1. Change Preferences > Advanced > Browsing > "Loading" to Redraw Instantly
2. Change Preferences > Advanced > History > "Remember visited adressess..." to 0

As a result, ACID3 text "100/100" is 1 or 2 pixels closer to the color boxes compared to the reference rendering.

Confirmation needed.

The reviews and comments are aligned centered in Opera just as in IE10!
But the news section is centered in Opera only, yes...
