1st!! Thanks for the quick update!!
No x64 for Opera 12 RC?

Wow - is this really early in the day, or really late at night?

bug Address bar lose focus on startup. Have to click it to enter a web address.

bug Have to uncheck --> check option "Use this proxy for all protocols" to enable new proxy settings for other protocls, otherwise only http will use new proxy settings and all other protocols use old proxy settings.

bug No notifications for blocked popups

bug Scrolling on Youtube page with playlist enabled is too choppy.

bug If the Speeddial thumbnail folder size increases to about 6.5Mb then WebGL does not work properly (Actullay it works too slow, just eats cpu). When i make thumnails smaller using some image convertor, then WebGl works perfectly fine.

bug Dragging a tab stack outside windows creates a new window with just a single tab! But it should move all tabs of stack to new winodow.

Extension:
ExtendTube
Contentblockhelper
Imagus

AMD 5750 (DirectX H/W)
i3 2100
Windows 7 64bit

Confirmed. Old bug is back. It loses focus only if there are any extension buttons next to it.

We like messing with you guys! p

P.S. The real reason is that we have an automated build system, where a single click will start a new round of builds for all platforms on a given code branch. The web based interface to this system had a small caching issue, so the person starting the builds clicked the button to start builds multiple times (each request results in a new build number.) not realising that the first time worked. We cancelled building of all but one of the requests because (code-wise) they would have been identical.

I have problem only on facebook scrolling... Performance is so poor. On the other sites all are fine.

My laptop Specs:

Intel P8400@2.26
2 gigs of ram ddr2
Nvidia Quadro 160m
WDC black 750gb

Also my graphic card is on blacklist to hardware acceleration and when I try to force turn on HWA, browser is very very slow...

I Don't have any problems on HWA on firefox on my laptop graphics...

So... Work harder, and optimize this browser as we need.

Best Regards.

Under-the-site loading status is jumping all over the site and remains there when I scroll down:

http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/1954/operaloadbarfail2.png -

Scrolling via pressing mouse wheel and changing cursor position interrupts during the action http://pctuning.tyden.cz/index.php?option=com_pctlongblock.

Still present visual inconsistency:

http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/821/titlerp.png -

I can drag and drop a tab on main bar again, but the dragged page is minimalized when I drop it, instead of being maximalized or restored down:

http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/271/newtabdragdrop.png -

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

XP SP3, No HW acc. It happens even when I try it in Opera Next clean installation.

One thing I've noticed since the introduction of the new RSS Reader: When using a shortcut such as "G" to mark an item as read and go to the next, it descends instead of ascending, going to the top of the list (newest item) down to the oldest item. There is no way to set it to go from oldest to newest as far as I know, either.

The second thing is that custom CSS3 fonts render strangely with HWA enabled a lot of the time. Two examples: http://www.theverge.com/ , and the post titles and logo on this page http://webdesignerwall.com/

Tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows Vista 32-bit.

SilasTheRockSays Wednesday, June 13, 2012 7:22:37 AM

When you right-click a link in Google Reader to open it in a new tab, it doesn't mark it as read like it does in every other browser, you have to go back and single click it manually.

Also, I just noticed that my Speed Dial is set to 130% zoom on Automatic. I guess you guys have reverted "DSK-361614 Don't zoom Speed Dial items beyond 100% when in Auto mode". yes yes cheers

But don't tell me that by mistake it was removed and will be back. no no

Freemail account at http://web.de/fm or Parallel Cionfixx web mail front end does not work.

You need an account to reproduce

1. Create a freemail account on web.de (very popular in Germany)
2. Log in to account on web.de freemail
3. compare web mail front end to other browsers:

No menu, page almost empty page
Same on web mail front end of Parallel Confixx based server.

By three. But in RC5 i at least saw part of page loaded :-)

Proxy NTLM Auth works very bad.

In 12 rc1 Win64 it did not worked at all.
In rc4/rc5 Win64 it at least manages to ask for password, sometimes even manages to load page or two, but...

when i clicked onto Login link in this forum - it stalled.
when i tried to open GMail, i hardly managed to pass after login page, then Opera 'loaded' empty page.

Then i run NTLM Maps and switch Opera to BASIC auth - and it works like a charm!
Two guys in their spare time wrote a tool, that just works.
The whole Opera software, seven years after that, still cannot catch up!
For seven years all your full-time developers cannot just replicate what already been done in spare time by two random guys!

ntlmaps-setup-0.9.9.6.exe 2005-07-05 Just works.
Opera 12 rc5 2012-06-12 - just stops.

spectatorxSpectatorx Wednesday, June 13, 2012 7:37:28 AM

I HAVE TO report this bug again, you just CAN'T release the final version with such a serious bug. Logout at ipko.pl is not working! ipko.pl is website of one of polish banks.

In other webbrowsers logout works fine, in opera 11.64 logout works fine, in many previous 12 next builds worked fine, since last few builds it is not working.

When i click "wyloguj" appears js window with message "click ok to logout" and i click ok and nothing happens, only js window disappears when it should to logout and close a tab with site.

Windows 7 Enterprise x64 sp1, opera/opera next x64.

Sputnikmusic's reviews text is still misligned. I know someone explained that the whole site is a complete mess because of its code, but at least restore the reviews themselves to their previous state as they were in 11.6x/12 RC1

netwolf Wednesday, June 13, 2012 7:48:00 AM

Still getting occasional hard freezes which force me to kill the process (no pattern found yet).

Also, idle CPU usage is significantly higher than with 11.64 and the same sites open.

I guess 11.64 will stay my main browser for some more time...

Win7 64bit, HWA off

I wonder if 12 release can import Next settings into it.
Of ocurse i can customize path and install it into Next folder, but a conventional way to opt-out of beta-testing without loosing or manually replanting all settings - would be rather nice to have.

should be as easy as copying the contents of your "%appdata%/Opera/Opera Next" folder to "%appdata%/Opera/Opera" folder (default names, depends on how the Opera directory in program files is called).

Suchman, z tego co się orientuję to chyba nigdy, gdy opera wprowadziła akcelerację to po jakimś czasie domyślnie wyłączyła ją na grafikach intela z powodu ich niskiej wydajności. Wiele osób raportowało niską wydajności i błędy w renderowaniu.

P.S.
Też masz ten błąd z wylogowywaniem z ipko?

I cannot confirm this one. Web.de works as expected in Opera 12 on OSX for me. Do you use any extensions or non-default-settings (including HWA) that might interfere with the page? On which Operating System are you testing?

CryioAcryion Wednesday, June 13, 2012 8:09:20 AM

I have a question. Why does Opera work better with Memory and Disk Cache Off, and with Windows Superfetch deactivated as well?

Running RC5, x64, with HWA Off, on 4GB ram. If I open many pages (say like 30-40), browser's usage goes up to like 2.6 GB (my record was 3.6 GB, only Opera jester ). Bu at something beyond 2.2 GB, the browser slows to a crawl, hanging and behaving jerky overall. If memory&disk cache are off, and superfetch is deactivated, the browser doesn't hang anymore, it isn't slowing that bad anymore, although the jerkyness is still there.irked

Off-topic: I hope we get to see a Metro version of Opera in version 12.5 or 12.6 wizard

Nurim Wednesday, June 13, 2012 8:09:39 AM

Great! Thnx!

Burov Dmitrythe-Arioch Wednesday, June 13, 2012 8:09:50 AM

1) there are TWO folders, Local and Roaming
2) it would also ask for manual de-installing of Next
3) it would not be that easy if u have few GBs of mail ;-)

So, yes, it is possible.
But if some person participated in beta testing, i think it would be polite and useful to provide him opting out to release, without need to manual tweaking.

Woudl have to ry it, thanks.
That bothers me since 10.x series.

But... r u sure that ALL those settings have to be off ?
Prefetch is global settings, not per-program one!

I wonder if Opera binaries be unAspacked, would it make difference for Prefetch ?
