HTML5 Drag and Drop fixes for 12.01
By Ruarí Ødegaardruario. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 8:04:04 AM
Also a heads up to our Linux/FreeBSD users. We made some changes to the process we use to build Opera internally. Several of the changes were done primarily for our own benefit and should have little impact on you. Nonetheless we felt we should mention the changes in case they do cause you problems. Features that are potentially affected include packaging, plugins, toolkit libraries (Gtk/KDE integration) and HTML5 video.
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

However, I'm still waiting for the fix for this issue (DSK-340482 - Non native font rendering doesn't handle complex script properly), please
http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1438812&t=1339910900
Hope this HUGE issue will be fixed very soon.
Thank you so much Opera Desktop Team!!!
EDIT: I'd like to add that my problem happens only when turn on "Hardware Acceleration". I mean if I turn it off, (non native fonts) render correctly.
To Mod who edited my post, I'm not too sure that the one that you replaced (DSK-340282) instead of DSK-366950 that I got when I reported the issue is the same problem. How can I see more description of any "DSK-xxxxxx" issues, please give me some example link.

1: Install any extension with a settings page.
2: Enter extension settings page from extension management page.
3: Use mouse gesture to go "back" (RMB + left, or mouseflip, or anything)
4: Get a Speed Dial page without titlebar and some strange behavior on page loading

Also, above this comment-box the text while transiting to red the scrolling and the text editing are really choppy.

9gag posts tearing/clipping/blinking is gone. Opera is back on track.
Sputnikmusic.com is still messed-up though.
2 out of 3 of my issues with v12 were adressed. I'll be so happy with 12.01 ^_^

DSK-367776 Minimum pagebar width is not respected. Is this a bug, or intentional change?

Nice...
An SSE2 capable processor (Pentium 4, Opteron, Athlon 64 or newer) is now required to run Opera
And then I reminded myself of Pentium III-S system Opera installation (I've prided myself with this that I could still run modern browser), I've made on 7-STABLE.

However, if the textual link is highlighted first, or if the link is an image or some other element, drag and drop works.

And can you check at DSK-360216 and DSK-368300 ? Both are probably the same issue I think. I found a workaround, but that should not be hard to fix, like the previous one.
