I had C&C online game opened, clicking on 24ur.com, than it crashed.

Avola Tuesday, October 23, 2012 11:10:39 AM

Hopefully this fixed my crash issues when closing tabs. Now I can't think of any other bugs.. except that really old one in Windows 7 where the minimize/restore/close buttons remain highlighted after moving the mouse away, which really annoys me.

Thanks, in testing on windows seven x64...

-Opera 32 bit:
NSL here (HWA and Webgl OFF) http://www.meteo.it/
Long load page time here (nsl for about 80 seconds and finally page loaded) http://portal.opera.com/

this 2 sites are not showed correctly if HWA and Webgl are ON
site1 http://www.elilan.org/documenti/prova-flash
site2 http://www.meteo.it/

-Opera 64 bit:
Now i haven't any problems

-Opera 12 32 bit does't work fine like Opera 12 64 bit
dsk-365031 still present! only in 32 bit, 64 bit works great.
Problem with webmail...opera don't load page after log in at webmail (virgilio.it for example) like a NSL but with a blank page if opera is identified like opera, if i change identity (of opera) login is completed successfully: this ONLY with opera 12 32 bit (and opera 11.6x release)

No problem with opera x64 bit version or previous 11.51 32 bit (for example), log in is completed successfully and webmail page is loaded without problems even if opera is identified like opera

furious furious furious furious furious furious

After the upgrade, all my sites in the express panel (speed dial) started to date. First on weak computer it caused inhibition, and secondly it devoured a lot of traffic and my time. Yes, and Opera crashes all the time! Apparently the upgrade sketches sites in the Speed Dial a conflict arises!

And one more thing - when it appears in the Opera settings (Speed Dial) option to disable images in the full update speed dial. As I wrote earlier, it is desirable to put the pictures only the pictures, not the ones that puts the opera after the addition of a site in the Quick set. Feel like that was such a setting that allows you to update the site in the Speed Dial certain period of time or do not change the picture. Give the opportunity to choose their favorite picture from the computer.

Still want to see the automatic change of the images (background panel Speed Dial) For example to specify the folder to which the opera will take pictures (like a photo album with your favorite photos of the family) and they will change as the change in windose 7 desktop images over time.

Still can't restore the window, with a theme installed and without.
When I try to restore, it seems that it will work, but the screen stays on desktop (or any other program underneath).
I have to right-click Opera on the start bar and select restore again for it to work.

Win XP SP3, 32-bit. HWA off, WebGL off.

spoon0042 Tuesday, October 23, 2012 12:51:34 PM

Running Linux here and haven't gotten a crash yet so there's that.

I made a couple posts in the beta testing forum (that aren't showing up yet for some reason) about issues I've been having: old flash animations don't register clicks, and the back / forward menus don't update the status bar with urls.

Also the fast forward button seems to get stuck with some "show image" after a while, I'd post more if I could reproduce it reliably. (edit) For instance, no matter what I do in this tab FF points to the image in Old-Nick's post above.

Scrolling is really slow on this page:
http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/3116/lg-ips277l-bn-review-lgs-latest-generation-ips-monitor

But disable images, and it's smooth again. Image rendering bug?

Please someone.. is DSK-375966 fixed?

/alt + 3 + 6 should do "dollar symbol" and in previous build it did only number(s) "36"../
On W7x64 with previous x64 build.

PS:
DSK-375761 [Windows] (Black window/UI not responding after minimizing and maximizing Opera)

It make opera not responding for a while or it must be killed? You know that Opera is hanging really often so if this is only for a while.. I could install this build over previous..

vux777 Tuesday, October 23, 2012 1:39:26 PM

Not sure about the other blocking solution, but Opera AdBlock not working in this snapshot... does not saves subscriptions, button etc. (old bug).
In previous snapshot, this would happen after deleting private data, but in this one, no matter what I do, settings can't be saved.

How about you implement some long requested bugfix (Bangla characters broken on Opera Linux), fixing DSK-375858 rather than bringing little or not used features ?

CryioAcryion Tuesday, October 23, 2012 2:32:47 PM

Yeeeei. Opera Turbo is finally working fast again. It is almost as fast as normal mode on a fast network, and the image compression isn't even noticeble.

On my laptop is doing wonders.

Can anybody from opera team tell me why opera remembers visited pages even if it is set not to??? (DSK-372445)

http://postimage.org/image/7b7n42p93/

And annoying DSK-372444 is not fixed yet.

Are you ever going to fix these bugs?? or am I wasting my time...??

Well, this is the closest report to a problem I've been having with the alt key. Alt-D is supposed to set focus to the address bar (and not activate the file menu which it does intermittently). But hold those keys down and you (I) get a string of D's instead. Can anyone confirm *this*?

well.. I can confirm it..

But here is a question about what is right.. I (we) got what we want - navigate to address bar.. and if you hold it.. you get something "extra" -> a lot of "d".. (maybe new feature.. maybe bug what should be fixed as soon as possible.. but I know that most of time here.. "old bug is going to be feature")

DSK-375761 is that maybe XP specific, i was using Winkey+D and can't see any blackness.

SF81 Tuesday, October 23, 2012 4:06:08 PM

Hi there, where can I download old development snapshots? I'm looking for Opera 12.50-1546. I only find a "File not found" page. None of the newer builds is stable enough for me.

rseiler Tuesday, October 23, 2012 4:11:20 PM

Is the issue with pages randomly coming up with weird jumbo fonts (it even changes the font) a known issue? People have mentioned it in the past, and I've seen it periodically for the last couple builds. No sites in particular, it seems random. Restarting Opera--not merely refreshing the page--seems to be the way to get around it. Win8.

LOL. Is it valid to say that neither Firefox nor IE work this way? I get and love the whole "feature rich" thing of opera...well...at some point it gets silly. BTW, if I press alt-D here while I'm typing this reply, Opera puts a "d" here...and activates the File menu (it's like opera is reading to distinct key strokes, Alt and then D). If they fix only *that*...I'd be impressed. Seriously. The bar is that low. Thx! Win7x64 32-bit

try to be more "pacific" (specific) and tell us (not me but to devs) what is going on.. some info.. do some bug report and help to do for your satisfaction and Opera the best.

PS: if you are looking for STABLE version.. try to opera.com (here are stable versions.. On this blog are development versions)

The Speed Dial images still occasionally need to populate when the Speed Dial is opened when the zoom is set to automatic. This was listed as fixed a few snapshots ago, but it still seems to happen. Anyone else still getting this?

Also, will the 'Show Speed Dial' command ever be added back? I feel that it is a regression from 12.02.
