It would be great if Opera could reload this simple ftp page reliably several times on Linux x86_64:

ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/

Try it 10 times and scroll to the end of the page everytime where should be a file named latest.txt . Since Firefox, Chrome and Opera 10.11 can do this here, it's probably Opera's fault. DSK-376070

The last several revisions in the 12.x line have not worked with www.wunderground.com. You can pick any location and go to 'WunderMaps' in the middle section under 'Radar' and you get artefacts all over the map. Identifying or Masking doesn't resolve the issue.

http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/?lat=42.32983017&lon=-83.03578949&zoom=8&pin=Detroit%2c%20MI for example

Check the sidebar links under "Latest 12.11 (Marlin) Snapshot". Refresh the page first.

Master password dialog shows up and then disappears instantly when send button is pressed and master password session is expired. So i have to use wand on page to get mail sent.

This build seems to work better for me. Have you been able to catch the bug that was responsible for stop loading pages/tabs after a period of time?

Still not fixed.

Home button opens homepage in new tab when you are on any page except on opera:speeddial.

Reuse current tab is not checked. Checking it does fix the problem, but the home button should always open it the current tab and should have nothing to do with that particular check box.

Here are my settings.

- Vista 32-bit

- No extensions enabled

- Hardware acceleration is NOT enabled

Peter Kroonpeterkroon Wednesday, November 14, 2012 2:41:50 PM

[DSK-377333] still not fixed.
It's about the fullscreen api

Any chance for a return of the 64-bit Mac OS X-bit snapshot builds going forward ? Would love to test releases these out.

ktxgio Wednesday, November 14, 2012 2:50:57 PM

now bookmark manager it's ok, thanks!
and tab stacking work perfectly bigsmile thanks!

GPBgpb500 Wednesday, November 14, 2012 2:51:34 PM

Alt key remains broken, will not invoke the File Edit View Bookmarks Feeds Mail Tools Window or Help elements in the menu bar. What I don't understand is more people haven't recognized this. It's not a keyboard problem here because those shortcut keys work fine on all my other apps...all but opera. What gives? Any plans to ever fix this one or just not worth the effort? Everything else looks good...except for some NSL pages (is there any point reporting those).

Win8x64 32-bit.

"WARNING: This snapshot is not an Opera Next build. It will default to upgrading your stable Opera."

ok, but whyyyyyy?!

Anyhow - I've encountered a weird bug with tab management/session restore (latest 12.10 stable) - basically upon startup when all tabs were minimized I cannot access any of them - using middlebutton+scroll to access seems to fix the issue but I have to do it for all tabs... it's tedious.

DSK-351602 is not fixed at all. (IME: When the Control key is pressed while inputting Japanese characters on Linux, the characters inputting are committed.)
Do not conceal a bug.
Give me an answer whether you confirmed DSK-351602.

Marcio Costapedaleiro Wednesday, November 14, 2012 3:17:55 PM

This update is slower than the previous one, in page loading.

I'm using windows XP 32-bit.

I filed a bug report a loooong time ago (DSK-357099). This bug made me switch back to v11.64. When you leave the rightmost (=last) tab opened, all tabs to the left of it will be accessible. But wait until all tabs started loading, before you switch to any of them, after you started Opera. When you switch to another task too quickly, it (and the ones to the right side of it) might get locked again.
Very annoying, but it looks like there are only two or three peope who use the MDI and encounter this bug ...

I can confirm this. Sometimes after restart last tab in some Opera window (I have several windows with tabs) gets stuck and the only decent way to unstuck it is to choice Clone in context menu and close the original one.

Wow, MDI user number 4 is here lol

You can also minimize and restore/maximize the last (rightmost?) non-locked tab. This will "unlock" the inaccessible tabs ... one by one, so this can take a while if you have too many inaccessible tabs ...

I was rather curious why this one is by default available as an update to the regular one with the side Next option than other way around...

I'm a havy MDI user and in fact it was one of the issues of 12.00 that made me stay with 12.10... Right now the issue doesn't seem to manifest itself after the upgrade to the 12.11...
(is there any topic in the forums about this particular problem? except http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=344471)

Also - there is an annoying issue that somethimes restored tab has it's titlebar hidden under Personal bar (old bookmark bar) -- looks like it's aligned to the main window titlebar...

I have a nice advice for you too: if you get crash loop on restart - open autosave.win and remove there all Transfer tabs.

Lubricatesie65 Wednesday, November 14, 2012 3:42:50 PM

Create an empty folder in bookmarks, put it onto the bookmark panel. Drag it down until a crossed blacked circle shows up and then click on it. CPU goes 50% and stays so till you reboot Opera. Can anyone confirm this?

Cristiancristianer Wednesday, November 14, 2012 3:49:03 PM

I don't like Next installers so it's fine for me yes

Thanks for the fixes.

}MoTeNaY{motenay Wednesday, November 14, 2012 4:07:25 PM

the average CPU usage is 40% (actually 38 with no flash enabled at the moment). For the rest ... nothing bad.

minho Wednesday, November 14, 2012 4:11:56 PM

This build is worst than previous build on my system.
I have high cpu usage when several pages are loaded on the same time and many random NSLs (I use ghostery extension).

win 7 x64, Opera x64, E2140 cpu

When choosing "Open folder" from context menu in Downloads window, nothing happens. It is interesting, because this thing works on Opera Next, but not on Opera. Has been so for quite a long time...

Only on Ubuntu (12.10 x64). Fine on Win & Mac.

Maximiliano Nahuel Barrosunviajepersonal Wednesday, November 14, 2012 5:16:12 PM

DSK-376093 still present!!!!!!!

1. Open Google+ Photos
2. Go upload, choose album (or create one)
3. Choose a picture on PC less than 50 kb (not issue in files > 50kb)
4. Then Opera never upload that picture... just hangs and must be closed shutting down opera.exe service.

Windows 7 x64

redmondb Wednesday, November 14, 2012 5:18:49 PM

Start Opera while not connected to internet (with one or more pages from previous session). Once Opera has settled down, reconnect to the internet and reload (or simply load) a page - "Internal communication error". No pages load until Opera is restarted while connected.

This started with 12.10 (reported as DSK-377241) and is still present in build 1658 (Win7 and XP, both 32Bit).

Regards,
Brian.

nogawa Wednesday, November 14, 2012 5:23:30 PM

When I use a window shading program, Opera goes block windows and it won't redraw screen back to normal size after a shading status... Version 12.02 (1578-x64) was working fine but after that all revisions gives me a block window.

I've tried multiple of window-shading programs and the same results.

'Select All' is still not enabled in the History panel when Speed Dial is on top!
(DSK-357751)

João Davidpiroxicam Wednesday, November 14, 2012 5:52:38 PM

I have Break.com in one SpeedDial and since this snapshot I cannot create a thumbnail. The thumbnail remains a blank image when I click reload.

I can confirm that - this why i go buck to Opera 12.02, since im my case this bug making newest Opera useless.

Also reported this a few days ago as DSK-377776, and waiting for fix smile

Bug on the icon, still present:

bug: for no reason the cpu usage goes up from time to time... and does not come back to normal

bug: still missing the icon of bookmarklets as "pinterest".

For the rest seems to be fine for now.

Broken text animation.

Confirmed Win7x64
The text beneath the schedule (or the parents corner) is broken. The lower third moves but the upper part stays.

Has no one noticed that the "Latest 12.11 (Marlin) Snapshot" link to the right of every blog post always links to the latest Opera Next builds? Even if they aren't linked inside the blog post itself? In addition, it is a symbolic link to whatever the latest exe files are, not a hard-coded link to a specific version number.
