On previous builds I have 159 points out of a total of 300 points with 7 bonus points in The HTML5 test ( http://www.html5test.com )
Now I haven't these bonus points!
Could developers tell me what happened??

What does "expanding items in the mail panel" exactly mean?

Click on a category in the Mail side panel to expand it. Boom.

MyOpera team, please fix this!fearphage Wednesday, August 25, 2010 2:32:39 PM

Sounds exciting smile Thanks team.

The JavaScript dialog and tooltip fixes are a nice touch.

I'm not sure exactly what DSK-293862 (Desktop window gets into weird non-drawing state) is though. I was hoping it was the weird bug where gesture tab switching twice really fast somehow focuses a different tab than the one shown and nothing redraws, but seeing as that isn't fixed yet, I guess it isn't.

ClashCityRockerclashcityrocker Wednesday, August 25, 2010 2:52:38 PM

DSK-311417 (Crash on expanding items in the mail panel)

Ouch, that limits where I can use this build. Thanks for letting us know upfront. Hope for a respin shortly. :-)

Kyle Bakerkyleabaker Wednesday, August 25, 2010 2:54:59 PM

I'm hoping the weird drawing bug was the bug I've been seeing a lot lately, but the one I saw was also like the links become unclickable bug as well.

Greunlis Wednesday, August 25, 2010 2:56:18 PM

With this build, when trying to load https page with associated userscript (registering an onload listener), Opera doesn't offer me option to turn the script on/off and takes up about 50% CPU. (Actually the dialog shows up but disappears immediately and only for the first time for each tab, on reload the dialog doesn't appear at all). In previous builds, the dialog appeared but while waiting for my input again took up about 80% of CPU.

I'm on Win7 x64

The "dialog disappear" is confirmed.
The high CPU usage not confirmed.

<3 Opera!!!

Have a bug in last two builds... :
Document loading status bar not updated... just updated once (after first second when document loading starts)

klaudyuxxx Wednesday, August 25, 2010 3:04:33 PM

middle click scrolling not working too

Joonas Lehtolahtigodjonez Wednesday, August 25, 2010 3:06:05 PM

DSK-217065 (Tooltip appears in front of another applications)

Does not appear to be fixed (build 9034 on Windows 7 64-bit), or this is a different bug than what I am seeing.

What I see is:
  1. Have Opera open with a page with hyperlinks
  2. Move a window of another application partly on top of Opera's window covering one of the hyperlinks
  3. While having that other app window in focus, move mouse to Opera's window area and back to the foreground app window to exactly the location where the hyperlink would be in Opera's window
  4. The URL tooltip showing the link target appears on top of the foreground app and the only way to get rid of it is to move mouse back on top of visible part of Opera's window.

Already been like that for a few builds, actually!

I filed a report a couple of weeks ago: DSK-309630.

Work-around: right-click in the mail panel and select "show messages from" the account you want - composed mail will be from your selected account. (Assuming this doesn't make the panel go "boom!" wink )

MichailNTMan Wednesday, August 25, 2010 3:25:25 PM

> DSK-256001 (Opera doesn't work with Windows NT4 SP6a)
Can't confirm this. When I try start Opera pop's error message: "C:\Program Files\Opera\opera.exe is not a valid Windows NT application."

MossMan Wednesday, August 25, 2010 3:26:22 PM

The mail panel thing doesn't seem so serious, actually... I've only got it to crash by expanding/compacting a category containing the view currently open in the mail window.

Seems if you select, say, a newsfeed before collapsing the "all messages" category then nothing bad happens.

Alternatively, you can always use the view selector at the top of the mail window itself...

Confirmed, Windows 7 x64!
In this snapshot WebM does not exist and the folder gstreamer is empty so others things are missing too.

Same here, and I also can't use SSL pages at all - the pages never finish loading, and do not respond to clicks (and you can't activate form elements either).

Also, the JavaScript dialogs (and the SSL security alerts) still have nearly invisible text.

Al Clemenseieio Wednesday, August 25, 2010 4:39:41 PM

Well, I'm afraid this "Fix" broke Opera for me.
My OS is Windows 2000
When I try to open Opera I get this.

"C:\Program Files\Opera 10.70\opera.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

I rolled back to Build 3488.
