The last months we have focused on stabilizing and addressing issues reported by the community. Now it's time for everyone to start using Opera 10!
We hope you like Opera 10's new slick design, Visual Tabs, Turbo charged browsing and the other new features. Do you know anyone who hasn't tried yet? Spread the word and tell them about your favorite browser!
Download Opera 10 final
A big thank you to everyone on this blog for giving us feedback and test driving the new Opera. Stay tuned for more news and 10.10 snapshots. In the meanwhile check out our mission to fix the world's slowest connection.

The main site works fine, but when you type in any article numbers (e.g. 879236) in the search field above, the following site is not displayed correctly!!
also:
http://www.startrekonline.com/
while loading the site looks fine, but when it's finished it does not anymore
works correctly with FF and IE, WinVista SP2 x86/ XP SP3 x86
can anyone confirm?

I was using Firefox and having major problems; impossible to update my blog on KAZEO, impossible to see my pics files... I was blocked as well with Flash players,,, and lucky me I discovered another browser, unkown to me... OPERA... I tried and guess what... ALL my problems in KAZEO were suddenly solved + it's so much faster than Firefox...

Additionally I tried using an online text editor and pasted a semi-large text document into the browser
here: http://ckeditor.com/demo
About 6,000 lines worth of text(mp3 playlist). This brought Opera to its knees, in a bad way; all kinds of strange things were happening. Opera did not crash fully, after about five minutes I closed the tab and the other tabs seemed fine... however the memory was never released and continued to climb. Might be something to look into.. though I don't imagine too many people try this.

Opera is the only one with a V10 - It has 2 digits for it's version number, and AFAICS no-one else has!! so all the websites only look for ONE digit version number, some also looking after the 'dot'..
this would get a version num of 0.10 or or 1.1 depending on how they program it... getting the message like ' you are using an old browser, please use......'
So until the others get to 10, '9.8' stops the above problem.. never thought I would be 'looking forward' to IE 10...

The same situation is in OperaMail. Only unreaded mails are visible (because are blue), readed are black, and when I want to read mail without HTML I can't see antyhing, because all texts are black!
