Better late than never, right?

We have a new weekly build for you to play with. We've fixed plenty of bugs on all platforms, and one of the biggest changes this week is a completely new Windows installer.
Our old installer is starting to show it's age, and for some time now we've been working on a new one using the Windows Installer engine. This change has several advantages. Windows Installer is the native install system on the platform, it provides more powerful network installation options, and it allow us to translate the installer to more languages. But it has drawbacks as well. Windows Installer is not pre-installed on older Windows systems, and the package will be a bit larger. The transition has to be made sooner or later, and we think that the advantages now outweigh the disadvantages.
Happy bug hunting!

Windows Installer specific:
Installers are notoriously difficult to set up correctly for all systems, there are just too many different computer setups in the world for us to think of all of them. Anticipating that some of you might find bugs in the installer, we've set the installer to write a local log as it progresses. This log is stored in the file
If your install goes smoothly, just ignore or delete the log.

Windows Installer specific:
Installers are notoriously difficult to set up correctly for all systems, there are just too many different computer setups in the world for us to think of all of them. Anticipating that some of you might find bugs in the installer, we've set the installer to write a local log as it progresses. This log is stored in the file
install_log.txtwhich is placed in the folder where the installer is run from. If you encounter problems while running the installer, we would very much appreciate it if you would file a bug report and provide the log as an attachment. The log will be overwritten if you run the installer twice, so please file the bug report first, and retry afterwords.
Known issues:
- (mac) Keyboard shortcuts with "ctrl" as modifier can cause Opera to crash.
- (Windows installer) A few files are not removed on uninstall and have to be deleted manually.

The tabs options is exactly like before.
Also, this build has the close tab X on my tabs even though it is disabled and it doesn't apply my Web page's settings from the preferences...

Are there any alternative ways of installing Opera???

Not by default, which is the same as in Opera 8. Try the "Click on tab to minimize" setting.

- :hover is not working for some of my links anymore: http://design-noir.de/webdev/
Used to work with the previous build.
- When viewing the source of the site above, is not fully marked as a comment.
Maybe related to the new comment parsing.
- CSS1 bug: http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/current/t09-c5526c-display-00-e.htm
- rgba() still missing. Shouldn't be too hard to implement since you support opacity, right?

@Developers:
Why did you change all the language strings in english.lng?
All the translations by my.opera community will go to trash?

Install_log.txt is not created in the folder I am running the installer from so I cannot check it.
Help!
(Although actually there's no urgency for me because others have already confirmed that NTLM is still not working, so there's no point me installing this version because I won't be able to use it anyway!)
