Some possible improvement: Deactivate the new Tab-Page-Preview-Pop-Up when typing into the adress bar. It hides the input when the cursor is (by accident) over a tab. And: It would be great if there would be a key which shows all site-preview-thumbnails on the whole screen (in the content window of opera) as table so that you can easily choose and switch to a site.

Observation:
Opera since tp2 loads significantly slower on several tested machines under Win XP and Win 2000. Where before took on 3ghz machine ~1-2 seconds now goes up to 5. This still isn't bad but I liked that 1 sec boot time.
Good Luck with Opera development further on guys

The mail-display bug (pictures displayed but no text) is fixed - yay!
That's all I have so far (only used it five minutes but now I have to leave work...)

I just quickly tried f6 and, as usual, as soon as I click on *ANYTHING*, the Widget UI just goes away again...
This may be to do with the various other problems it has since my task-bar is on the left of screen.

Maybe, in the Beta it's time to remove some redundant entries in Preferences, like: Preferences->Advanced->Browsing->Show web page size in title bar. I believe, this setting is not so "hot" to be there and still can be enabled in opera:config.

I will not even attempt to use it if it's not going to upgrade over itself, as losing all my settings is pretty catastrophic...
it wouldn't let me change it..

I believe, new features implementation is frozen for this beta, though they will be developed internally

Here is a quick "tutorial" for those who get Opera "fogetting" their preferences when using the MSI :
1) Once Donwload Opera 8348 MSI
2) Go Next until you reach the Upgrade/Separate Installation
3) Choose "Separate Installation"
4) Change the installation folder to the one containing your current version of Opera
5) Install
The bug in the Wand Window is also fixed.
Keep on!

Hope you solve this bugs.

And... I have crash when pressing on this button or <F6) (hot key).
!!! Team, will be new icon or logo in new Opera version? Or still red "O" will be?
Wish: Add to hint strings (over images) "alt" and "title" tag parametres.

To disable Widgets banner, goto "Tools > Preferences > General"
Unless you just wanna disable the banner and not the widgets, then.. blah
Anyways, for this build, I was in horror when on choosing upgrade this (beta) installed into a 'new' folder and started without my old settings. I was like "oh noes.. another of those 'we'll make you kill yourself builds", until I realized my old build was still there. So I tried uninstalling the new one, but apparently both builds are named 'OPERA 9.0' in uninstall window, so I accidently uninstalled the older one.. :|
Also, I so hate when these apps install without Start menu folder and 'WITHOUT' uninstall icon in that folder. I mean why would I wanna play cat and mouse by opening the slow 'Add/Remove' window and search for Opera 9.0 in the list to uninstall it. Just give us a shortcut in the Start menu for uninstallation please.
Oh btw, can you guys please... PLEASE! make it easier to upgrade to newer builds over 8333 without loosing all the settings and installing into a new folder?

Tools -> Show widgets
Click the little arrow to the right of the little widgets tab
Deselect the box saying "show widgets tab"
This could probably be a touch more intuitive

When i access Widgets, it shows that "transparent" black background but not at the bottom where the startmenu usally are located.
Maybe something that needs to be fixed?
Else, Cheers on the greatest browser out there!

The default install location was changed ahead of beta, to protect users with less beta experience than you guys.. sorry if that hurts you a bit

I simply love the recent builds... they're not without faults, but each build improves some more...
Is it possible to improve sandboxing of certain plugins? It's not nice to have the browser simply disappear without a trace - with or without obligatory windows error message.
This makes browsing e.g. ytmnd a bit of a chore...
Thanks for the semiweeklies!

Ah, well that sounds good, if true.
@minisu
Hey, it beats Internet Explorer's latest, "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview - released on March 20th", the name for the update from "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview". Or for that matter "Mozilla Firefox 2.0: Bon Echo Alpha 1".
I mean, dude!
