Hey
Several people have mentioned that when restarting Opera the Unite applications do not restart. We have a possible fix.. So please take it for a spin and see if it caused any regressions.

Wow, that's what I call customer support
Even though the changelog is not really interesting for me as I don't actually use Unite (except for testing), I really appreciate that you provide a build on a sunday!

z@h3k 15. November 2009, 12:08

Team do not on holiday on Sunday?

QWERRTY 15. November 2009, 12:14

Great thanks for your team. :D Good luck for further builds.

Robert90 15. November 2009, 12:21

Wow, do you get paid extra to work on Sundays?
And I think this definitely means we will see a final next week. If you would wait a week extra you should have released a extra RC tomorrow.

Lena 15. November 2009, 12:21

WTF? That started from the previous build..

aFamous 15. November 2009, 12:23

We had need, thanks. :left:
What's holiday zahek?

Vague Rant 15. November 2009, 12:36

Both Qt3 and Qt4 builds fail for me on Ubuntu karmic. I'm new to Linux, so if there's any kind of logs or anything you'd like to see, let me know.

zoquete 15. November 2009, 12:37

Saving chat window as html /mht does not work ages

anchors in opera:config does not work

copy to note from personal query does not work ages as well.

Missing opera-logo in opera:config - 2 seconds fix - 2 month or more.

Opera refuzes to load new images / embeded fonts

Sierd027 15. November 2009, 12:50

I hope so, as when Unite is finally released, there's again time and esp. resources to concentrate on - for me personally - more important things like polishing some old features, fixing very old (and also only recently introduced) bugs etc. etc. However I wish you the very best success with Unite, and I'm sure that many users will absolutely love it

FontLink does not work correctly.
It is specification?

Working fine here on XP SP3.
(the site wastes more than half of the available real estate here though, but it does the same in other browsers too, so I guess that's intended beviour...)

netwolf 15. November 2009, 15:01

Desktop End-User License Agreement

still doesn't leave a good impression...

btw, are there any other changes between 1874 and 1878 except Unite restart behaviour?

Adam Kaczmarek 15. November 2009, 15:14

Ubuntu segfault guy here; I dropped back to the 4725 build and it's running fine.

Arnt 15. November 2009, 15:34

Unite does not restart. :-(
Unite is also very slow to start, but all applications that I had running start eventually.

What do you mean 'dropped back'? 4725 is the latest Linux version?

Noticed that too, as for quite a long time after start, the "Enable Unite" item was grayed out here. First thought I couldn't start Unite and started looking at my settings, then I realized that it just took quite some time to start.

Guh, sorry. Meant *4694.

Lena 15. November 2009, 15:57

so anyone else experiencing problems with downloading dictionaries?

thexfile 15. November 2009, 16:02

During install there's a Upgrade option listed but that doesn't upgrade build 1857.

redpok 15. November 2009, 16:11

Dictionaries download just fine here. But why no Finnish dictionary in the list? :worried:

Lena 15. November 2009, 16:15

i do not have any list at all...

Blaz Pristy 15. November 2009, 17:02

I have mouse with two more button on the side and they not work in Opera but in FF works as page back and page forward

Can you look about this, using Ubuntu and Opera 10.1.

dotroni 15. November 2009, 17:43

"gautamchandna" bug appears to be fixed.

Pierre 15. November 2009, 17:50

Thank you for this unattended Sunday build

This one fix restarting bug for Unite applications, here (Win XP).
I'm using startup dialog with "restart Unite" option checked and after a 45 seconds delay, all applications in Unite are re-started correctly.
Opera Link seems to be activated faster (only 5 to 10 seconds after Opera restart) than Unite. Is it a "by design" behaviour ?
