Today Espen and I made a Halloween competition for MyOpera, just for fun. We hope that you like it, we had a lot of fun making it.

klingoncowboy4: start at http://my.opera.com/community/ and find the hidden doors. I got the impression you'll need the Opera browser and using its capabilities may make it easier.

Halloween Hunt

There are 6 hidden doors on My Opera. Hunt them down!
Click the door to find a trick, or a treat.

We have 40 prizes. The first 10 will get an Opera goodie-bag
and some sweet Norwegian candy. The remaining will get
the goodie-bag, but have to buy their own candy for Halloween!

When Fred and I designed this compeition we thought for a second: "Who in the right mind might actually pull this off?? The last part is nearly impossible!" ... but many of you have proven me wrong allready! I'm absolutely blown away (as always!) that some of you have completed the hunt

hmmm I have tried again and searched virually the entire site and have only found the most obvious one.

This hint was pretty much towards either to dress up yourself in the Accessories Store (spelling error on the webpage!) or to change something different. Well, it took quite a while until I discovered the accessoires are not on my.opera.com and some more time to find my way to the last door (google couldn't help in this point).

The 5th door was a bit tricky, too.

Too bad that link on the doors doesn't work properly in Opera 9.02 Linux! Hehehe.

For example clicking on http://my.opera.com/community/ doors should move you to beginning of the page where new image appears. Under Opera for Linux it moves up only a bit (that you don't see new image). Under Opera for Windows it works properly.

What a shame...

Beasty little door

So far the first was hardest (learning curve) but the last one is a blocker. You DON'T want to know how much traffic I caused on your site just for this silly door...
